Hello BOLD community and friends!
The weekend is upon us! HOORAY! Below you will find this week's announcements for BOLD!
Announcements means that BOLD is busy and we are constantly working hard to be sure that we are doing God's Work as well as keeping BOLD alive within the community. The length of announcements changes from week to week! Please read all the way through as each announcement is as equally important as the others. Thank you and I hope that you experience a week filled with support, love, and hope from your families, friend, and most importantly, from the Holy Trinity.
Announcements:
Mental Health workshop opportunity via National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)! We are still working with NAMI on getting an ASL interpreter for this workshop -- if this changes, I will let you know by Tuesday evening. Shared via our Interim Pastor Catrina Ciccone. This is a new opportunity. If you are interested, please check your email and click on the registration link to fill out your information and get the workshop updates! We, so far, have four members signed up and we want to encourage more to attend!
When: Wednesday, May 25, 9:00-10:30 AM
What: Creating Caring Faith Communities.
There will be opportunities for summer events this year!!! We encourage you to reach out to the communications coordinator if you are interested in being a volunteer for any of these events. Nothing is set in stone yet so please stay tuned for dates, information, and we hope we will see you there, both as an attendee and volunteer!
We are returning to Social Sundays! This happens on the second Sundays of the month. We will have our first one of 2022 on Sunday, June 12th. This is a time for adults to gather, social, possibly do arts and crafts or games, and learn about one another and/or discuss faith development or any other topic. Social Sundays will also allow the Pastor and/or Deacon to focus on our youth for activities supporting faith development while the adults are separate. The time will be 10:00 am to Noon.
A congregational questionnaire set by the officers of the Council has been mailed out to members and supporters of BOLD. Many of you have returned yours and we THANK YOU!! If you have not yet done yours, please fill out the papers and mail back to BOLD as soon as possible. Help remind each other in case others have not done theirs yet! We ask that you return these by the end of May 2022, thank you!! Thank you in advance for your participation as each person's voice is equally important and the Council wants to hear from ALL OF YOU. Your voice matters!!
Weekly BOLD Bible Study is still happening on Zoom during Wednesday mornings starting at 10 am! It is led by our BOLD member, Tim Buel.
Interim Pastor Catrina Ciccone will be taking over the prayer requests portion of the email blasts. She may include scripture or suggested readings in her email as well. The pastor's inbox is FULL as it is and the communications coordinator and Deacon would like to continue receiving your prayer requests as a way to keep the Pastor's inbox from overwhelming even more and so, we will pass along your prayers to the Pastor to share with our community.
