  • Azure networking is different, but easy once you wrap your head around it. We'll cover the aspects to creating virtual networks in Azure, and then we will build a Site-to-site IPSec VPN tunnel with a Unifi USG peer.

A brilliant tutorial. The drawing at the start really explained what the elements are and how they tie together.

Hey bro, can you do a point to site one too?
Been racking my brain all week about S2S, but the visualization from paint is what made me understand it.

Thanks for sharing this extremely helpful video! I'm currently in chapter 6 of Azure in Month of Lunches book. All of my servers are currently on-premise and I'd like to move them over to Azure. I'm reading up on how to set up the VPN connection.
Questions: After configuring the Azure site-to-site VPN connection...
    1) Should I create a new site in Active Directory OR can I join Azure VMs to my existing AD site?
    2) I was told that spinning up a DC would be the recommended first VM after setting up the VPN. Do you have any advice / perspective on what to do after configuring the VPN connection?

Question, after setting up S2S and creating a Azure VM, if we needed to install a Data Gateway to access on-premise SQL server would we just install the Data Gateway inside the Azure VM to access our on-premise data?
