The only question I have about the Fluorocarbon line, I understand it has more stretch and strength when wet. Which is why they say to wet your line when tying a knot. Just curious to your thought and others as well. Thanks!
Yes I no it's a year late, but I always wet the line tying knots and before the first cast, also if U no there's a Biggin on the line peeling drag, I'll put the rod tip in the water, it will save a few eye inserts.

You wet your line when tying a knot to reduce friction when you tighten it down. Has nothing to do with strength or stretch
