It would be very interesting to attach the antenna pin to the bike chassis by a wire and to hear what vibes the bike receives during the travelling! If you will do that please share the vid!! You have to use some open metal part of the chassis without paint to make a good contact

Great video! Excellent idea to use a bike, perfect way to find the most sounds.
By the way, is this the v.1 Ether or the new V.2?

V1 has one dial for volume, V2 has two dials for volume and tuning

What's recording the audio, a go pro? If not how did you sync? Really nice , I want to try this.

Audio is recorded on portable recorder, which is in my backpack. Sync solution was to start video and audio recording and then to hold the antenna for a few seconds in front of the camera (ether gain is higher). When import the audio in daw you can see in the waveform that part of audio where you hold the antenna is clipping. The beginning of that clipping is sync point. In video it's moment when you press the antenna.

I use a wireless receiver for a lav mic into my sony camera and the other end plugs into the ether with headphones. It works pretty good.

Hate to think what 5G roll out would do to the ether.

Ether would be fine, you'd just have some higher tone noise in your soundscapes, and with the high absorbsion/low range of 5G signals you could probably shield them out without losing too much else, or the could make a newer version that cleans out the 5G noise if it's too annoying
