  • When it comes to seafood, my favorite, hands down, is Salmon. And with this Ginger Soy Marinade, and some grill time on a Cedar Plank, this meal is an absolute winner.
    Marinade Ingredients
    ¼ cup Soy Sauce
    ¼ cup Maple Syrup
    1 tsp Ginger Puree
    2 TBSP Lemon Juice

The recipe and content is top notch, but I just want to point out the great job you did on your audio production. The narration was smooth and relaxing while the audio was clean and crisp.

I've actually had Cedar Plank Salmon for dinner the last two nights and yeah... I'm going to make it again tonight. It's that good..! I'm not using a Marinade but Salt/Pepper along with Sriracha and Kewpie Mayo along with Brown Sugar. I think I'll use your Marinade tonight and I'm sure it's tasty..! 😋

Thanks for the video!! have done it several times already. Delicious! To enhance the cedar flavour it is worth to heat up planks before putting the fish on. And also I was told a good trick to put the fish not directly on planks but put spring onions or leaks in between. That way, your planks are less dirty and also you have some delicious spring onion ready to serve with your fish.

I’m going to try that marinade. Looks like a winner. I cedar plank salmon fairly often with lower temp and indirect but going to try it your way next time. I’ve been getting some direct from Alaska and it’s been very good. A temp of 125 F is plenty fine for me though 😬. Always enjoy your videos.

This is a classic dish on the Weber. I would have liked to see it done on the Masterbuilt as well. Maybe a comparison? I mainly see low and slow, or steaks on Masterbuilt videos.

I will try this Ry! Thanks agains for everything.
I haven't seen a proper smoked mac and cheese on the kettle- maybe you could give it a whirl?

Can you cook salmon low and slow. I am new to the Weber Family. How low can you adjust the heat too.

I don't know if it's something that you do, and if I'm over thinking things, but when I marinade my salmon, I leave the bag with the flesh side down, so the flesh gets more of the marinade. Has anyone tried to see if theres much of a difference between leaving flesh side down vs skin side down in the marinade?
