Hitman would work so well as a netflix series. 12 Episodes, each one about a different target, different location. A lot of dead pan humor from 47, a lot of bad-assery, perhaps some downtime scenes with 47 (like him going weapons shopping or something). It just seems like the perfect solution.
It’s honestly amazing how every movie studio failed to make a live action Hitman movie, but Rocket Jump can pull it off and make it better in under 5 mins.
I think the whole Hitman in live action would be better as a Netflix series. It makes sense from a perspective of quality. Each episode focuses on a specific contract, location, etc. The plot can be a secondary factor in the background, as it usually is in the Hitman games.
@FindingmyDeen I mean, it can be used as a "what happened between Absolution and World of Assassination?" There had have been at least 4-5 years between those 2 games. What was the ICA doing in that time? Where was Lucas Grey and what was he doing? How many contracts did 47 take and were they connected to Providence? The show can answer these questions easily. The Witcher Netflix series works because it isn't trying to tell a story directly from on of the games. As far as character development goes, Agent 47 seems bland, but he's a rather complex character. He has emotions deep inside him, but he's a sociopath because of how he was "programmed".
@FindingmyDeen that's why it wouldn't work as a movie. But when you have episodes with a short length you don't have to focus on character and plot development as much and could distribute it over the episodes building up for a grand finale. As for the episodes themselves the focus is more on the environment, the targets, his traits, story and characters affiliated with him. We could see 47 interact with characters, gather information and use his talents to improvise and pull off some sick and creative kills. And since it's not a movie you can keep the overall plot of an episode simple. It starts with 47 arriving at the location and gathering intel from Diana and ends with him exiting the place undetected or escaping after getting caught. And in every episode 47 gathers some information that leads him closer to the truth. I genuinely like the idea, compared to other game franchises this could really work well for Hitman
honestly the ending is pretty accurate to a lot of my playthroughs. perfectly executed until i kill the target and everyone sees. Then a large gunfight ensues
The grind set is doing the level sloppily, observing all of the guards paths, events that happen, windows of time to slip into areas ect. Then once you do that you can try the level as many times as possible until you get it right. I used this on the 7th floor of the hotel in absolution. (Don’t remember the level name) there was a room with a janitor disguise. A maid was there so I could not slip in unnoticed. A man with a phone call walks by Wich also causes the maid to walk by, I slip in, grab the clothes. This is the perfect window of time for you to put on the clothes before the next maid comes into the room. That is an example of my method working, of course you can do it another way, your choice.
That scene where that agent tries to pull a quickdraw on him so he straight up grabs him and shoots him in the stomach at point blank range with heavy knock back causing him to fall back first into the pool in slomo with Ave Maria playing in the background is so badass.
If we're going by in-game lore, 47 would never fuck up this bad. He is always persistently flawless. That's kind of why it'd be difficult to make a movie about him. He goes through everything without seemingly any challenge.
That doesn't mean you can't make a good movie about Agent 47 with some artistic liberty. In "Hitman: contracts" (after the Opera House level from "Hitman: Blood Money") agent 47 was shot after the contract by the member of organisation, which is rival to MKA. So it's not the tough to came up with some unforeseen consequences in the movie if the script is well-throughout out. Maybe it will be good to make an Absolution's adaptation with "LEon Professional" kind of plot, under which 47 suddenly taking care of the girl Victoria and goes against his own employees.
However doing a movie precisely of these flawlessly done jobs would be the perfect way of doing a Hitman movie, he is the perfect clone after all and he's one of the best at his thing. And the conflict thing could go over a job went wrong doing the Contracts thing that the prior comment mentioned.

+Andreas Harices It's not really a choice if you are awarded much more points if you go silent. The less you interfere with the crime scene, the better of an assassin you are.
@Sam Lim calm down its just a badass short flim if hitman was John Wick. Except hitman is a pussy just planting poison in a cup that happens to be full.
@@R3DSH1FT196 Are you being sarcastic? Anyway I never said anything about water being dry when not touching a surface.when something is dry theres no water so how could water be dry? Besides the way I said that water isnt wet is generally the most logical way to say it!
This guy could have achieved a Silent Assassin rating (according to Absolution rules) if he had simply hidden the camera guy's body, and either A: escaped though a window after performing the hit OR B: hid the targets body as well, threw a bottle in the room so the outside guard would come in to investigate, and then snuck past him on down the stairs out the front door and BAM...time for 47 to call Diana for his next assignment...actually never mind Diana was 47's assignment...hehe
Mamenber Yeah your right, I forgot he strangled him in this clip, alright so in this case if he did everything above AND pacified/syringed the camera man, he would have been golden :D
Daniel Allen Haha yeah man I'm extremely passionate about the Hitman series, because it's totally my kind of game. I've played all the missions on each different game a million times. I've just always admired games that allow the player to improvise by providing different options to accomplish the task at hand, and Hitman is all about it, regarding not just the brilliant concept of stealth, disguises, and various tools to get the job done, but also the idea that you essentially become the hitman, because then it becomes almost like a strategy game for me. That freedom of choice imo also gives the Hitman series tremendous replay value, which is so awesome. I can be a silent assassin, or I can be that ruthless contract killer with no limits on what it might take to complete the mission. Plus I love the character of Agent 47, he's the perfect ideal hitman in my mind, being that he's is a clone from a lab in Romania who spent all his young adult life learning how to perfect the art of assassination, which qualifies him as an extremely highly dangerous/trained/skilled assassin, so in theory he really is almost super human. However he also has a good side as well, and has attempted to devote his life to the church by working hard and donating copious amounts of money for the sake of trying to do the right thing, which is what we saw in Hitman 2: SA. Then on top of all that you have Jesper Kyd, one of the greatest video game composers of our generation, who has done all the music except for Absolution. H has a way of enhancing the atmosphere in a way I can't even describe. I respect him immensely. I wish I could help develop the Hitman series, I have so many cool ideas to suggest that I think would make it an amazing game.
Nice! Well i hope you get to become involved. I myself just finished the Absolution campaign and i loved it! Problem was i can't get the previous games because they're not on the PS3 so before playing i researched the entire story from Romania.
So I do have a idea on how to make a great hitman movie. Tell it from the target's perspective! Make it into a full on action horror film. Make agent 47 mostly in the background barely noticeable, to build tension it could be great!
It is great because if we are being honest, the maps' plot is way more fucking interesting at some points then the main game plot, lol, 47 can be so blend and be without any personality alot in the main missions and contracts, he'll be better as a side character and at the same time main character lol. The targets most of the time got way more personality than 47 and they got pretty interesting stories behind their back, like Silvio Caruso hating himself, murdering his mom and being a 40 yrold virgin, his life are truly interesting, and if we get some movie level character stories, that'd be great
I feel like this concept would work better as a TV series, tbh. And at the end of each episode, we could see a bit from 47’s perspective showing how he executed the whole mission, or perhaps we could see glimpses of his methods throughout the episode! And of course, there could be post-credit scenes that set up more of the plot or foreshadow future targets for 47.
+MarkDeMort The hitman in the video fires like five rounds per target, while the one in the games used like 3 at most, and 4 on [Spoilers]. Still better than any movie by Uwe Boll.
RocketJump OMG Who is yall fuckin camera crew?! Those camera angles were priceless! And whoever was playing 47 has the look, the demeanor, and conviction; he walks just likes em. I couldn't stop laughing how he was just walking up behind the target-- just like the games! And who orchestrated the fuckin ambiance and the comedy?! This shit was well put together. The amount of views are no coincidence.
this should have been the crew to architect the 2015 movie on hitman, and i dont even wanna start talkin about how they f***ed up the 2nd chance on the movie,i u have seen the trailer then u would know whut am talkin about
I gave a standing ovation when he changed clothes in a second, met the guard, guard tilted his head in suspicion, and he shot him off the ledge- playing the theme song to the game. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! HAHAHA!
The studio which made this short movie should be hired by a large movie company to do a full-length one. And Kevin Burke fits the role of 47 perfect, he beats both Timothy Olyphant and Rupert Friend.
***** He isn't a "Silent Assassin", a silent assassin is like splinter cell, now Hitman's style is different, totally different. But at times can be sneaky, but it isn't his style.
***** hahahaha, dude, i've played the game, But it's NOT his style of assassination dude, the true meaning of Silent Assassin is Splinter Cell, I really do understand what you are talking about and agree to an extent, but if you play splinter cell, you will realise that, they are different, in many aspects of the way they work
Fantastic. It’s very tempting to just do a film about a perfect hitman mission. But it’s embracing the game’s weird humor and doing something new with it that makes this video memorable.
It feels awesome to finally relate to this. I recently did a mission in the new Hitman where I acquired a sound crew disguise to take out the musician in Bangkok.
Wow. This is really, really well done. And it is exactly how most of my hits go wrong when they go wrong in Blood Money :D. So all in all, much better than the "actual" Hitman movie.
you cant make a movie by copying a game. THis short video was the same as playing absolution. iF they made a 2hr movie with these actors and budget it would fail. Just look at Resident evil the last movie had a very low rating because they copyied ideas from the games and didn't fit well. The 2007 movie wasn't a big hit but it's still better than this
True, you can't really compare a movie and short film that basically consists of re-enacting a video game. So I can't really say that this is better than the movie. But it entertained me a hell of a lot better than what little I watched of the Hitman movie before I decided to give it a pass.
This is what the Hitman movies should have been not just guns blazing the whole movie but infiltration , big brains moves , set up , perfect kill , stealth , camouflage .
Fun fact the blonde actress they used for the “porno” scene is an actual adult actress lol I believe they made a bts video a long time ago talking about it

probably the best live action Hitman I've ever seen. Amazing actor!!
You can't get a Silent Assassin rating if you kill civilians
Mamenber Yeah your right, I forgot he strangled him in this clip, alright so in this case if he did everything above AND pacified/syringed the camera man, he would have been golden :D
Adam Lambert
Damn, you really thought that over lol.

That is a fantastique idea. It would be great to watch, because as an audience we would always be wondering if one of the workers was actually 47.
S0RTR3X make it so most people have something covering where the bar code is
It is great because if we are being honest, the maps' plot is way more fucking interesting at some points then the main game plot, lol, 47 can be so blend and be without any personality alot in the main missions and contracts, he'll be better as a side character and at the same time main character lol.

I gave a standing ovation when he changed clothes in a second, met the guard, guard tilted his head in suspicion, and he shot him off the ledge- playing the theme song to the game. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! HAHAHA!
Should’ve had Diane explain the contract to you that would’ve been a nice touch
The studio which made this short movie should be hired by a large movie company to do a full-length one. And Kevin Burke fits the role of 47 perfect, he beats both Timothy Olyphant and Rupert Friend.
Nah. Not Friend
+Joshua issler yeah. I found Friend to be a great Agent 47.
+tabuu9 Doesn't look like Hitman at all.
Timothy was a grear 47 friend was just alright..
That's your opinion. Mine is that Friend was actually quite good, but Olyphant was just pathetic 47.

Guys, understand the Agent 47 is not a "quiet assassin" he sneaks around when necessary, but in-game you'll find you hide in plain sight...
+Ikenasio Tuagalu Yeah plus in the Hitman games there's always the option to go loud if you want.
+Ikenasio Tuagalu lol you gotta follow me everywhere
***** He isn't a "Silent Assassin", a silent assassin is like splinter cell, now Hitman's style is different, totally different. But at times can be sneaky, but it isn't his style.
***** hahahaha, dude, i've played the game, But it's NOT his style of assassination dude, the true meaning of Silent Assassin is Splinter Cell, I really do understand what you are talking about and agree to an extent, but if you play splinter cell, you will realise that, they are different, in many aspects of the way they work

this 4 minutes video is better than every hitman movie.
This is really well made. The shootout scene seemed realistic, obviously, I wouldn't know, but I greatly enjoyed this.
Dear random big film studio, just give this man a fucking budget.
Thanks!
The Hitman movie was just a disgrace. This should have been made into a feature film!
They are rebooting it.
Motorsheep but the movie would look very interesting or entertain to watch if who evernplays #47 actually do look like the game character
