I wish this show were available on DVD. Like any other skit show it could be very hit and miss, but when it was good it was something special. Tracey Ullman is one of the few genuinely funny people. Her comedic skills are extraordinary. Her ability to disappear into various characters is nothing short of remarkable. My personal favourite moment when Tim Curry playing a rock star about to change his image. She plays a woman from Sotheby 's auction house. They perform a song called Lonely at the Top. It almost is a reminder what a performer Tim Curry was. Whatever issues are preventing the series from being released need to be resolved. It shouldn't be seen in these poor quality TH-cam clips.
Jim Piddock as Derrick was too funny here. I'm trying to find what I guess must have been Joseph Malone's first appearance on the show, where he was a patient of Dr. Alexander Gibson (Castalanetta) and he could only communicate when he was dancing, and Malone gave way with a very impressive dance bit and life story. I have always confused Christopher MacDonald and Joseph Malone with each other.

I'm guessing the wife, Ellen, is portrayed by the same actress who played Mary MacGregor in THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE.
