not to be dramatic, but i listened to your alice in wonderland book reading every night for MONTHS when i was 17 and this is SOOO nostalgic for me... I'm 25 now and glad to say these pop up book videos are still my favorite 😭
It’s crazy how many times I’ve watched the Alice video. I was in 5th grade and Now I’m a junior in highschool and have at least watched once or even 10 times a month throughout the years

Omg this is so nostalgic. I had books similar to this as a child "Pirateology" and "The Wandmaker's Guide". They were so cute and written like an explorer was journaling encounters

Oh. My. God. I have that book!!!!!!!!!!! - I read it everyday as a child. I can’t even tell you how happy, a little sad, and insanely nostalgic this is to me. This was so magical Maria, I teared up a bit actually lol. I scouted for fairies everyday, and this book was the basis of my best friend’s and my Fairy Club in grade school- I can go on about this for days !!! Thank you so much for giving me this moment. I can’t believe I just went to my junior prom two days ago, but here I am remembering magic from when I was 8 years old. Thank you so much for this genuinely healing moment - tomorrow; I’m going to find that book (it’s downstairs rn I’m pretty sure) and put it on my shelf in my room💖💖

I had this book when I was a kid! I loved building little "fairy houses" in little hollows in trees or rocks in my yard, using twigs and acorns, etc. to make little structures and furniture. Good memories!

Aahhh I remember getting this exact book from the "tooth fairy" when I was little! I loved it so so much and was so excited about it! It inspired my seven-year-old self to make all kinds of fairy huts and leave handmade gifts for them, and helped my imagination grow so much. It is truly a beautiful book. And I still have it! Thank you, Maria, for bringing back so many happy memories 😊❤

The music in this video is identical to the music in a series of hypnobirthing tracks I listened to while pregnant with my oldest, who is almost five now, so I was hit with an intense wave of nostalgia and calm when I listened to this video. Storybook videos are some of my favorites as well, since they remind me of my mom reading to me as a child. Thank you for triggering these sweet memories.

I pretty much listen to this every night so I can sleep and try to not think too much bad thoughts. Since I listen to it so much I don’t get distracted trying to listen too much of what are said. I would love if we got more of these in the future! I like other asmr also but Maria is why I found asmr and will always be my fav. Especially for sleeping.

Ok so when I was a child I would only go to sleep if a audiobook of one of Shirley Barbara’s book was playing. It had this same soft music and a lovely voice reading it. It even had a little bell play when it was time to turn the page. This just hit me with a wave of nostalgia and I was memorised. Thank you for bringing back this feeling I haven’t had in years 💕
When she stands the book up straight and bends it back it makes a creaking sound like an actual old wooden fairy house might do. That was very fitting and very tingly for some reason too! Would love to hear more of that creaking sound!

My only fairy encounter happened sometime in the mid 2000's in a little town called Penrose. Me and my buddy had just spent a couple weeks in Phantom Canyon and stopped in town for a few days to get supplies. We met an interesting woman named Eve and her family who were passing through. She claimed herself to be fay...I was an aspiring bushcrafter/survivalist and took her proclamation as a challenge of sorts. I had a bad attitude towards her. "Oh you think you're one with nature, huh? Prove it." My nastiness was repaid in kindness and understanding. To make a long story shorter, she did prove it. She left her boyfriend and her children for a week in their camper and took me on a journey. I won't speak of what I experienced, but she made me believer. Nothing sexual involved! It was a humbling experience. Never forget her and the short time we spent together among nature.

I feel like I’ve “grown up” watching Maria’s videos. I think I was 18 when I found out what ASMR was. She was the first channel I tested out, and now watching this it brings back SO much nostalgia. It’s crazy to think how long she’s been doing this, because I’ll be 29 in October. 🥺💖
