Crochet is my main jam and going from thread projects with small needles to bulky yarn projects always takes a little while before it feels right again.
Tiny stitches are just amazing. I’m new to nalbinding and i have fallen in love with it. Still struggling with small yarn at the moment so i am practicing with chunky yarn. Your videos are incredible. Thanks
Thanks! And that is a very good idea, start with chunky yarn so you get familiar with the nalbinding works, and then you will be able to do anything! 😊
@@VMuraz I'd also like to add to that some things I've learned over the projects I've been nalbinding. With larger yarns, you want to use stitches that pass through the working loops once like the york stitch, as twisty as it may be. The smaller you go with your yarn the more you'll have to rely on other stitches to provide adequate interlacing of the yarn. This all depends on your thumb size, and is a way to work with using larger thumbs as a consistent tension gauge. Finding a combination of factors for your yarn that work for you can take a while, but there's nearly always a solution.
Thanks! I have some cool nalbinding projects in mind that I'm super excited to share 😊 I am currently streaming on Twitch mostly, if you want to follow over there for a minute by minute kind/IRL kind of thing and here you'll find shorter videos of the projects, hope you'll join us! 😊
What kind of pen did you use to draw the cutting line and embroidery design? I presume the marks were all covered by yarn, but how did it behave in the wash?
I used just a regular pen, which I guess it's not what you are supposed to do, so don't follow my example 😂😂😂 it did get covered by the embroidery, that's why I wasn't too concerned. Normally I use chalk, because that one will fade away on wool after a while 😊

Yes! Same going from one stitch in a project to another, I always have to think twice 😅😅
The jacket looks so nice, it will be used more now I think. Thank you for the good ide🤩
Yes!! I can't stop wearing it now 😂😂😂

I absolutely agree with you! I normally prefer using thin yarn so the kind of stitch is definitely something I have to consider.
That is definitely crafting. You are amazing!
Thanks a lot! 😊
I think it came out beautifully.

oooh I wonder if you could add a mirrored snake on the other side too?
I thought about it, but I kind of like how the asymmetry looks 😊
