- In this conclusion video to the transformation of the inside of my Volkswagen Transporter (pre-facelift T5) I give the headliner a luxurious feel with some faux suede and I add 8 LED down lights and show you how to use the original wiring to make them work like the factory lights did. I also add a couple of additional extras just for functionality with my day to day life.
Also With the addition of showing you HOW TO remove the front headliner in your van.
How do you rate the transformation on the inside of my van?

Looks like a very professional job, nice work 👍 Nice to keep the three way function on the lights also
Thank you very much! Yes that was one if the features I wanted to try and keep and this was the neatest way I could think of doing it
Great job, just need to check that the USB in the seat base is not on a permanent live as it will give you a very slight drain. Couldn’t see the type of USB that you have but you can buy them with the switches on them and also a voltage indicator
Thank you very much. The power points in the seat base only work with the ignition being on so no drain on the battery
Lovely jobs sir. Looking to do similar myself. Have you got the link for the lights as I’ve seen the link for the switch 👍
Thank you very much, these are the lights that I used

What material did you use for the ceiling panels? I got some fake alcantara in dark grey and the glue came through the material and looked awful.
I used a faux suede 4 way stretch with a foam backing.

@@RJW_Customs appreciate the reply , will be doing mine soon so appreciate the extra detail you did on wiring 👍
Your welcome, yeah I don't think there's many videos that cover the actually wiring side of it
