  • In this conclusion video to the transformation of the inside of my Volkswagen Transporter (pre-facelift T5) I give the headliner a luxurious feel with some faux suede and I add 8 LED down lights and show you how to use the original wiring to make them work like the factory lights did. I also add a couple of additional extras just for functionality with my day to day life.
Also With the addition of showing you HOW TO remove the front headliner in your van.
How do you rate the transformation on the inside of my van?

Great job, just need to check that the USB in the seat base is not on a permanent live as it will give you a very slight drain. Couldn’t see the type of USB that you have but you can buy them with the switches on them and also a voltage indicator

Thank you very much. The power points in the seat base only work with the ignition being on so no drain on the battery

What material did you use for the ceiling panels? I got some fake alcantara in dark grey and the glue came through the material and looked awful.

I used a faux suede 4 way stretch with a foam backing.

Your welcome, yeah I don't think there's many videos that cover the actually wiring side of it
