    Man, love your reactions sir. Dimash, just wow !! But, that doesn’t begin to explain the magnificent voice or personality of this young man. The more we hear & see the more all we Dears want !! I sure hope & pray I get to go to one of his concerts before I die, I’ve a bit of time, I’m only 75. If I have to whirl in with a wheelchair, I’m going ! 😂

    I've been listening to Dimash for more than 3 years. It’s especially impressive when Dimash writes music himself and performs his songs! Listen to "El amor en ti" - an unusual, beautiful song and Dimash's gorgeous voice!

    The instrument you see in the beginning is a Kobyz - one of the most ancient string instruments. In the past it was considered to be sacred, to be able to banish illness or even death. The song is from an unknown young man taken from his homeland to march (not ride as Kazakhs were and are natural horseman) towards the battlefields of WWI to fight for the Russian Empire.
    I love how eager Dimash is to introduce and share his heritage with the world, he is so adorably proud of his culture but at the same time he openly embraces other cultures. As at his concert in Armenia last year he learned an old folk song in one day to perform it was stunning - "I`ll die for the wind of the mountains", the same in Ukraine with Marigold.

    Thank you for your nice reaction ! His home language is an ancient one, therefore his display is very poetic, all his lyrics are very deep, nowadays we learn to not care a lot about lyrics, which shouldn't be like that. However, i do respect Dimash for his behavior, being a young fellow he is a person full of love and not afraid to show all his colors to his audience, very brave! His respect for his family, country and audience shows his true value, shame there are not a lot like him! Keep enjoying the Dimash journey, it is so worth it.

    Although Dimash would dislike being called the best vocalist on the planet, the fact is, he probably is. I cannot even think of anyone who is remotely close in this era or any other. All the different vocal styles he performs is incredible, what sets him apart is he is world class in all of them imo.

    Dimash has a great love and passion for his country, and it shows when he sings the songs of Kazakhstan. I couldn't see the translations but I really didn't need to see them. First, I will go to his channel and secondly, it isn't so much about the words. It's the way he can make you feel what he's singing. Thank you again.

    The love in Dimash’s life shines through every time you see him with his family. He seems such a wonderful person and I also cannot see how someone can listen to a few songs and say he has no emotion in his voice, or that he is not connected to a song when he wrote that same song and worked so hard on that video or that they don’t like his accent or they don’t like that he jumps from one octave to another. His accent to me only make him more perfect and the emotions in his songs affect so many people. Sorry for the rant but I wanted to point ou5 some of the reactions I have heard in the last few days. Thank you for your quiet and respectful reactions that I enjoy so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Dimash is not only a great International artist, he's also a proud Kazakh, and a cultural ambasador for his people. He loves to showcase his countries music and folklore and it's majestic landscapes in his videos. Yes, he's a decent caring person who was raised in a traditional culture where responsibility and respect are highly valued and we see this exprressed in all his endeavours. Dimash works hard to make his voice, his music, his productions as perfect as possible, but he also freely admits he's a flawed human being, just like anyone else.
    I saw an early interview with his mother who complained that he can be distractable and disorganised (probably 'away in his head - making music'!) and has been known to turn up at an Airport without his baggage, or miss flights! ( Probably not these days with his 'people' and tight schedules! ) - but you are correct. It's an important point to make - especially about privacy and managing expectations. Not only for artists to apply realistic ones to themselves, but, these days for fans; not to place Artists too high - up on unrealistic pedestals. Dimash is not yet 30, and has still much to explore about himself, his artistry, his direction in life.

    I believe Dimash's parents have shared all the stories of their Kazakh heritage. When Dimash sings of his homeland, i believe he embodies all that heritage. He gas shared that this is one of the more difficult for him to sing emotionally. The composer of song and lyrics are lost to time. This is about a man forced to leave his homeland and parents to fight in WW1 for the Russians. All men were called up, leaving behind those they love to starve.

    Thank you for your reaction! Great commentary! As Dimash said himself, his music is not for everyone. However, if you do respond to him, his voice and persona gets into your heart and soul forever. I admire and adore this young man greatly. His only vices (if I were to deal with him in the everyday life) would be his stubbornness and keeping everything inside himself until it reaches the exploding point. Though he did claim that the stubbornness is only in his professional life, so that’s good!

Refleja la angustia ,la incertidumble y la congoja de du alma. Es una bella canción y muy biien interpretada. Saludos.

    Thanks for a lovely reaction! 👍💞. Go try to find the performance where Dimash premiered this song at The Silk Road Spring Festival in China. The stage background is amazing and I’ve read that at the start the kobyz is imitating the sounds heard in a village on The Great Steppes of Kazakhstan.
    Listen for the howling wolf , then the village dogs barking in response. You’ll hear the night bird songs and the wind whispering through the grasses with the creek trickling nearby. Enjoy! It’s a gorgeous performance.

    I a
    Especially love his Kazakh songs. Quaragym-ai is a favourite. Dimash sang it at the digital concert and it is beautiful, but I loved the first time he sang it during covid. It was a tribute to his beloved college professor, who had died from covid. Dimash sings in an empty theatre, empty stage. The young pianist was also a student and wanted to pay his respect. Dimash struggles to get through the song. There are pictures of the professor on the screen behind him. The professor wrote the song. It is heartbreaking to watch.

    Between the agony of that instrument that is heard, that finds the exact tear of someone who is going to fight in a war and is separated from their affections and where only desolation and death await them. Our beloved Prince, with that genuine feeling, turns a song of so much pain into a story that vindicates the life of each soldier who perished. Brilliant Dimash, not only are you an excellent singer and a great performer, but you are also a great storyteller of your ancestors. It is a blessing to know that there is a possibly unique BEING, who has the gift of transmitting the entire range of words, doing so with the passion that you do. Great reaction! Dimash is very passionate about his country and his Kazakh root, so he sang with such emotion and you could hear his anguish as the soldier being sent off to a war far away from home and missing his home and family. I feel your frustration in dealing with TH-cam and copyright blockage. I have seen many reactors use transparency on the video or add some effect, like flowing snowflakes over the video, some also played the video flipped. They also pause the video several times throughout the length of the video. Give those a try and see if that will help. Take care of yourself and God bless.

    There are other versions of this song, each one is done a little differently, both in his vocal treatment of it and the background music. They are all amazing! He always sings with utmost emotion, but there is a special feeling in his Kazakh songs. I believe the whirlwind was done in post-production, so that Dimash didn't see it while performing. I don't know if I'm correct or not, but if so it's done with AI after the performance. I think it was the same with his wings in SOS from the Digital Show. Love your reactions! Please keep going with Dimash, he will always keep you supplied with more genius material!🔥🔥

    Be careful! We Dears will recommend every single song Dimash has ever sung!😅It took me about two years to get through almost all of them! I love the purity of Dimash's notes! I think some people like music that's a bit less perfect. I like that music too, but like you said, Dimash's voice someone cuts clean into your soul! (At least for some of us. My friends, say, "Ya, he's good" and that's it.) I appreciate that Dimash tries to set a good example for the younger generation. He has said that he believes people in the public eye have that responsibility. He's also said that he is "Just a normal Kazakh guy with some morals." (I believe that was the quote.) I will recommend "Qairan Elim" another of his Kazakh songs and perhaps my favourite (If I had to be tied down to just one). 🇨🇦

    everything you stated in this reaction was exactly what i would have said myself, particulary about DiMASH and You Yube. There is no way anyone could watch DIMASh and not have a feeling at least of his talent and other abilities; unless they have no soul for music. As to why you tube does what they do, makes no sense at all; it passes understanding.

    Copyright claims are totally capricious on youtube. As you said, 10 reactors can react to the same song on the same day, 9 won't get copyright claims and 1 will. It's nothing personal, and tomorrow you may be one of the 9 that don't get claimed. It's completely random. Further, there are often copyright claims from shady companies that don't have any legitimacy at all, some of whom may not even exist! TH-cam doesn't care, and even if you dispute with proof that they're not real companies, youtube will still enforce their claims. It's made no sense for years.

  • @debbiemorgan859
    @debbiemorgan859 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    TH-cam is a law unto itself, it would be interesting to know who is copyright claiming as Dimash owns the copyright for The Story of One Sky.
    I was a little perturbed by your words "the image he portrays" I understand that you're probably more used to western artists who can often be a bit fake, but what you see with Dimash is truly what you get. He doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs. The only thing he has alluded to is that he sometimes swears when he's frustrated with work. He's always said that although he wants his Dears to be proud of him, it's more important to him that he never disappoints his family and that he believes in setting a good example for younger generations who look up to him.

    • @Go-pointl
      @Go-pointl 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. Only Western artists put on fake images. All other artists from every other corner of the world are pristine, and perfect. People from the West are naturally fakers, whereas All artists from the Not West have nothing to hide, being close to angels and all that. They have no egos. They have no flaws. Of course.

    Thank you for all your work. Honestly, I can't say why yt blocked some of your videos. Some reactors' videos are blocked, the same videos are allowed on your channel even if they don't do anything different than you and vice versa. I don't think anyone knows for sure. Some reactors have luck with some videos, some don't. That makes no sense. At least not one that we can understand.
    Samaltau is about a young Kazakh who was forcibly recruited by Russia in 1916. He was forced to leave his home country and his elderly parents to go to war (WWI) and does not know what awaits him there as a soldier or how his elderly parents are to manage without him. He was forced into a war that is not his. The best version in my opinion is from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It’s pure emotion.
    Samaltau Tokyo Jazz Festival: th-cam.com/video/UvMRkiYu3Js/w-d-xo.html
    Normally there are no vocal acrobatics in his native songs and I love his Kazakh songs a lot❤. In every of this songs you can hear the great love and devotion to his country and his people.
    You also really have to hear another beautiful song in Kazakh.
    Qairan Elim means Holy Land and is a prayer and an expression of fear about the fate of Dimash's country and the world in general. The MV is fantastic and he even directed it. The man, Renat Gaissin (a Kazakh composer) on the piano is also a friend of his and he has also written songs for Dimash such as River Of Love, an instrumental in which Dimash plays the dombra, and the song Òmir Òter (Ode to Life). This MV was presented of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. Also a must see but switch on the subtitles. A masterpiece. Goosebumps!

    Òmir Òter 2021: th-cam.com/video/6Zg9jKRNCF8/w-d-xo.html
    And an absolutely mind blowing bonus, if you think the Qobyz sounds is so incredibly beautiful and unique then there is a viyTH-cam showing rehearsals for his Almaty concert in September 2022 on Qairan Elim. Olzhas Qurmanbek, who always plays the Qobyz in his songs, wasn‘t there or not yet there. Than Dimash sang the sounds of the Qobyz. It took me a a while to realize that this isn’t an instrument at all, it's Dimash‘s voice. At first I couldn’t believe it, but then I thought, Ok , it’s Dimash😄.

    Maybe I have an explanation why YT is blocking your videos. You have the wonderful ability to listen first and let what you hear sink in. Reaction videos run on YT under the Education section or something similar. This means you have to interrupt and speak more often to bypass copyright blocking mode. Your interruptions are probably too short and too infrequent. Personally, I really appreciate your calm, reflective manner.
