Brilliant acting on everyone’s part, it is absolutely great that the show is showing how deaf people communicate in so many ways. Keep up the great work it highlights the fact deaf people are no different to anyone else just because they can’t hear.
Would be nice if Corrie put subtitles so those who don't understand sign will know what Charlie is saying. We just see how Gemma and Freda react/ respond but have no idea what she is saying.

I would like to let you know that BSL and Makaton are different signs Language not the same because Makaton is more suitable for severely disabled people and helps them communicate better. Deaf people use BSL for their own language, such as English.
