      Then how would you know where they're investing their money? You also need a very big capital to gain from their real estate foothold unless you happen to have land or real estate yourself near their infrastructures.

    Sa pangkaraniwang Pilipino karamihan jan may utang based from my own experience...

    I'm hoping to retire this year Sep at 55 on my birthday and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, I decided to stay on the sideline for awhile, now I’m worried with the numerous bank failures as of late, am I better off reinvesting my savings in the stock market or do I wait?

      Those that sat out this year missed out on about 20% gain. diversify your money in various basket of securities (T-bills, bonds, growth stocks, & ETFs) Also with your budget its advisable to consult a fiduciary advisor to help set up a well-structured portfolio

      A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors, but over the past 5years I’ve had a an advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3million in gains… might not be a lot but i find myself secure financially

      Credit to 'Martha Cornell Kerns' will recommend you look her up, One of the things I have learned in my years of investing is not to completely move in or move out of investments, if you have quality assets. It is better to trim, and then hold some cash for buying opportunities

      Exactly what I’m doing again this week. The smartest thing I’ve ever done was having 30% in cash to buy on the way down in 2021. It hurt watching 30-40% discounts drop to 50, but grabbing Google, NVDIA, Apple, and others near the bottom has paid off. I love the bull outlook but I’m not confident to should hold all equities

    It is sad how inadequate Filipinos are informed about the investment opportunities in cooperatives. Share capital dividends offer way higher returns on investment than funds or whatever. Plus, you can contribute to your local society more directly than investing your money in stock market. Siguro kung several millions na ang pera mo, pwede na magdiversify sa MP2, bonds, funds, etc. Pero kung may 2 million or less ka, investing in a good cooperative is a good bet for me.

    Is home loan considered a debt?

    • @xross14
      @xross14 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is. But the home is considered an asset so a home loan is considered good debt.

    • @HVBRSoF
      @HVBRSoF ปีที่แล้ว

      @@xross14 wrong. it's not your asset until the title is in your possession. so until that time, home loan is a bad debt.

      @@xross14 paano naging asset ang bahay?
      1. naluluma ang bahay
      2. binabayaran mo ang tax ng bahay
      3. minementena mo ang bahay
      paano naging asset yun? more like a liability lol.
      bute sana kung may passive income ka to maintain that liability, pero most wala
      bute pa ung tricycle or taxi na pinapaboundary mo kumikita pa ng pera, vs depreciation,
      or yung negosyo mong mabili sa mga parokyano mo na kumikita ng pera
      na pwede mo ipambayad sa amilyar, electric bill, water bill, repairs ng bahay
      pagkain ng pamilya
      un ang asset
      pero bahay?? asset?? outdated mindset lol!

    Perhaps, invest only the money you can afford to lose--nothing more than 5% of your total funds.
