Torrent Power donated 184 crores between 2019 and 2024. Out of 184 cr, 137 cr went to BJP, rest to other parties like Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena, etc. From last 5 years, Torrent Power's average annual profit is around 1660 cr.

Someone should ask .. they have so many people in the family and everyone is working… the bill is for the house/ family and not individuals.

I have a prepaid UPPCL connection. I have 5 fans running almost 24 hours, more than 12 hours, 1 AC that runs for approximately 2 hours, 1 TV, 1 Fridge, 1 washing machine 1 water purifier, and other smaller items. My monthly electricity expense ranges from 3K to 3.5 K. Just for a comparison.
Torrent Power purchased electoral bonds worth Rs 106.5 crore between 2019 and 2024. Of these, bonds worth Rs 76 crore were encashed by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rs 17 crore by the Congress, Rs 3.5 crore by the Nationalist Congress Party, Rs 3 crore by the Shiv Sena and the rest by the Aam Aadmi Party.
