Thank you Brother! Happy you enjoyed it. As @Tk-421 said, no de-tuning or 7-string needed at all. The guitarist in the original most likely played it in E-standard tuning (maybe even drop-D). The parts where I palm mute for the chugs, the original most likely played it on the 5th fret of the 6th-string or the open A-string. I just like playing those parts on the lower octave on the 7th for that extra "punch/mmph" to the chest, to make it sound more powerful.
