    Calgary Stampede -- world's largest rodeo. It's the most competitive and biggest prize for rodeo events. Bigger than the one in San Antonio that causes the Spurs to go on long road trips.

      True story: I have reasonably close family (mom's cousins or cousin's kids I believe) that were headers and heelers, highly ranked for a while in the PBR. Still somehow did not know about the Calgary Stampede.

    Agree with your Dolphins breakdown. Biggest takeaways from Dolphins' Hard Knocks was that McDaniel sees Tua as his point guard, and he wants to get the ball in his playmakers (Reek & Waddle) hands as efficiently as possible. Although McDaniel comes from the 49ers and Kittle lineage, he has not shown a strong interest in getting the TE involved in the offense. He knows that he only gets a limited number of possessions each game, and wants to maximize his speed player's opportunities. Maybe there is an argument that some of Mosterts 20 TDs naturally get redistributed, and Jonnu gets some green zone work, since that is not really Reek or Waddle's forte, but don't see a lot of targets going Jonnu's way, with all the speed that the Dolphins have at WR & RB.

    • @StealingSignals
      @StealingSignals  หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are some sharp people really in on Jonnu so maybe I'm missing something!

      have you guys ever considered publishing those texts in a formatted way? or doing this via email or text and then posting the convo? i know that's ostensibly what this is but it would give you both more time to "bull/bear" it without cutting each other off, forgetting, etc. just a thought.

    • @StealingSignals
      @StealingSignals  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a fun idea! We don't text that in depth as much as I might have let on, and the truth is we tend to agree on a lot more than we disagree on. But we've talked about doing stuff together for a while now, will be more to come.

    We need this guy every week !! Great pod !! Damn, no Gretch for two weeks😭love your thoughtful takes a lot. I’ll be slightly over on AR15. I do think Jayden Daniels and AR15 should be flipped because of the passing projection, and if Aiyuk is in Wash then definitely. Going to get more AD and JT shares tho. AR15 should be the thumbnail. Lastly, change your thumbnails to you shaven. The guy on the thumbnail is not you lol. Ps. Did you see the article I sent you on twitter on the Patriots and Maye pre-draft 😬 ?? Have a great vacation, I expect greatness when you return, minimum 3.5 hrs

    I've also had trouble going thin at rb since wrs just keep moving up and there's more upside to having rbs in flex and td upside variable. every time i try to go 4-5 i end up with 5-6 which would of been uncomfortable in previous years. and im high on colts O in total 40% Arich over the field on JT and 40% AD mitchell but I can't change the market as one person and I'M happy to find disagreements in the market in this game.

    • @StealingSignals
      @StealingSignals  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good luck with that Colts stance, I know Jakob is with you!

  • @moaf2padventures757
    @moaf2padventures757 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    i think the case for malik and jonnu is pretty straightforward. 1. contingent upside 2. more passing tds. you said those already. those are obvious.
    but also 3. what if the miami offense was so concentrated last year simply because it had to be? they had literal 0 passcatching talent behind tyreek and waddle. enter 2 of the most mike mcdanieliest players to ever mike mcdaniel. super fast talented players. these guys could potentially open up the offense in ways mcdaniel himself couldnt even dream of. what if these guys help to de-consolidate targets? (is that a word?) i think its likely mcdaniel took note of how bad the offense was when tyreek and waddle were banged up and how overrealiant they were on those 2 and would love to avoid that this year.
    all the buzz has been that mcdaniel really wanted them to draft malik and that hes gushed about getting malik the ball. that may all be just coachspeak nonsense but all these little things add up to make an interesting 18th round pick in an offense we desperately want to have pieces of. also fwiw im not worried about obj at all. hes old and washed. i think they just brought him in bc hes a professional wr and the team is so devoid of those guys.

    • @StealingSignals
      @StealingSignals  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I mean if Malik does wind up on the inside of a slightly less concentrated but still pretty concentrated offense, he'd look great. Could see it expanding to include a third pass catcher but not much else, and then he'd be in a good spot. It just seems like a thin bet to me.

      ty Jakob for pushing back on the Daniels/AR stuff - i had to close that video when i heard that bc i was in a bad mood lol - need to get back to it - also 1. i think you're too low on his shirt/intermediate accuracy; 2. he's working w/QB coach Will Hewlett again, and i expect it to improve anyway; Hewlett is effusive w/praise and says AR is on a mission to be MVP; 3. Jayden Daniels's short and intermediate stuff isn't very good, either... and all this doesn't even speak to Daniels pressure-to-sack numbers and his "one, maaaybe two reads and run" tendencies - and then he's off getting hammered with a worse body type than AR... like i simply can't get behind Daniels > AR, let a lone it being "clear" or "not close"
