Please post more of this strong musician from the depth of Kwara culture in Ilorin. This is pure Yoruba for all of us and for those who behold the culture.
Thanks bro for this legendary kwara musician. He had a single in the sixties that WNBC/WNTV used to play as an openning glee for a farmers program. (Salubarika, te si so fun wa, te si notisi, etc...) EgbaAlake,! simply the best!! Thanx
Oh My God!!!! Thank you so much for this posting. The only album (one song in it is Ojo L'orin wa) of this man was bought at the Lagos Garage in Ilorin in 1979. This is far from memorable. Egba Alake, what can I say of you. Thanks indeed.
You're killing with all this stuff, Egba Alake. Thank you. I had never heard of Jayegbade Alao until this post. Beautiful stuff, granted Odolaiye Aremu will always be the king of dadakuada this is awesome ,nonetheless.
Please did this man exist before Odolaiye? I will think so, his pace is slower and more in-depth. He had a great control of his voice, and he’s able to say a lot in a single verse.
Thanks very much for bringing this legend musician. Can you get us ona lodi meji yio. Ona lodi meji o. Awa o woyi ka tun wo ohun o. God bless you sir
Am really digging this 🎶
