Nice one Mooshtaffa; and very smart Tourism SA! Let's build patriotism again, and take it one step further. Add South African history to school, and rebuild our SA from within.

@@mooshtaffa, maybe build an economy and make it attractive to investors? That's what the government needs to do. The economy is shifting to Cape Town, and the cost of living is too high. That's why we have people building informal settlements everywhere because they can't afford to pay rent and send money home. Housing and transportation is a problem. I am from Bloemfontein, and it pains me so much that I have to leave my family and look for opportunities elsewhere.

When the President goes to answer questions in Parliament he would fly from Pretoria to Cape Town, at whose expense? State funded of course
Ministers have to account in parliament meaning they will travel between the two cities.

But over the time ANC was pushing for the provincial capital and legislature to be at Umgungundlovu (Pietermaritzburg) citing travelling costs as Ulundi is not very central being in Nothern KZN. Eventually ANC won and the legislature is now In PMB.
