I think it was his fault. I’m not an expert so correct me if I’m wrong. I think Darrisaw blocked his guy to where if hall had more reps with the first team he would’ve known Darrisaws tendencies and would have stepped up or not drop back an extra step and he would’ve had time to make that pass. Faults a tough word but the play call might be to blame bc a shotgun and drop back if it was designed that way wouldn’t be on Hall I guess but why design a play like that idk. I think it was on Hall but not bc he’s bad it’s bc he just needs a few more reps for timing. The second drive looked promising. The pass to TJ gives me hope. Also he stepped up in the pocket and bought himself some time. I think they talked about it on the sideline so maybe that’s all it took and we gucci. Sb bound

Lions fan here. Minnesota was showing itself to be a very good football team before Kirk Cousins' injury. Excellent scoring offense and an improved defense over last year. I saw the Vikings as a real challenge, and the only legitimate one, to Detroit's seeming supremacy in the NFC North this season. Despite the hope Minnesota fans have that rookie Jared Hall can successfully handle the reins, the loss for the season of one of the best QB's in the NFL will be very difficult to overcome.
Detroit fans have suffered even more than us Vikings fans over the years and smart drafting and Dan Campbell definitely have your team going in the right direction. Was looking forward to the 2 game, winner takes NFC North showdown with the Lions at the end of the season. Now those games are likely to be moot points. If it can’t be the Vikes (who are in real trouble now and even more so, after this season), will be cheering for the Lions!
In hindsight i get koc wanting him to throw. If hes gonna be our qb the rest of the season he needs to have that immense pressure on his shoulders. Trial by fire.

He's only been on the active roster for 3 weeks. People need to cut him a little slack. I look forward to seeing what he can do. Everyone laughed at SF when they had to start Purdy…I think people quickly forget how competent a QB can be with elite playmakers around him… MIN is going to beat ATL…albeit the passing game ceiling is lowered, but I think this offense will still be solid.
I felt that we should have just run the ball and punted on the play he got strip sacked. The only way GB was going to have a chance was if something like that happened, and it did, though the Packers failed to take advantage of it. I think coaching needed to realize Hall was going into a tough spot and make it easier on him. He did make a nice throw to Hockenson for a big first down, and that shut me up pretty quickly, but my point stands that we probably put too much on his plate when we didn't have to.
He has to get it out quicker... That's why Cousins was thriving the last few games. He got it out faster than ive ever seen. Because his protection likely
Jaren Hall looked good. He has good poise, he can scramble and he throws a nice pass. However, the offensive line must be much better! They are not opening holes for the runners and the pass protection is poor at best. The offensive line can make the best out of an unfortunate situation by protecting their QB.
Pass protection is poor? They literally gave up 0 sacks in the game against San Francisco and the 1 true sack they allowed on kirk in green bay happened late in the 4th quarter. Sometimes I think yall don't watch the games and just want to be mad for the sake of being mad.
Hall may be good "Someday" but now is not the time to put in a quarterback to run a offensive scheme that is way above his pay grade.. @@justin9202 he's definitely a good QB but he's just not the QB that's gonna get them anywhere, his time with them has already shown that. For the receiving core the Vikings have and have had in the past he should be a top 3 qb! 🤷🏽♂️
@@murray0234 well last year the issue was defense not offense. This year our issue is still the abismal oline and run game. Cousins has never been bad. He's been balling since in mn. The issue is we have had so many other fires to put out Kirk has had little to work with

Sorry, but I don't see a whole lot that Cousins does that this kid can't. If anything, he probably brings more of the escapability factor to the pocket. I'm just not sold on Cousins being the must have element to the Vikings going deep into a playoff run. I think our defense just needs to keep doing what it's done the last two weeks. Get a few takeaways here and there.
