    Thank you so much for the valuable information you give. I took delivery of my first Large White pregnant sow yesterday and expecting the second one, a Duroc, after her crossing in two weeks. I have built an eight- room structure in wait for the expansion that my two sows will bring. Much love from Nigeria.

    It is the sign of a good farmer that his sow is perfectly fine with him around her piglets.

    • @0hleg
      @0hleg ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@terrencetrent5530 well obviously not. Animal farming is not profitable when you have a lot of regulations like the EU. I could be successful with poultry farming but I’d be making not enough for it to be worth it. and I’d have to invest like 10-20k $. I could easily sell out on Facebook marketplaces with free range chickens. But the slaughterhouse I have to build myself etc. and there’s a lot of work for not so much money really. Like barrier to entry wouldn’t be more than around 50-200$. If I isn’t have to build a slaughter house. And they have to follow specific regulations which means I need to pay for a state inspector to come out aswell. It’s a lot of expenses

    I’m from Liberia and I started my pigs farming in June 2022 with 2 pigs, right now I have 13 pigs in total with two pregnant sows. My major problem now has to do with the expansion of their building.
    I you got some stuffs on the floor of your pigs, don’t they smell?
    How do you bath the pigs with those stuffs on the floor?
    Is there a medication for fast growth and reproduction?
