I'm confused why Kathleen mentioning Kaijudo (another Wizards of the COast product) was unacceptable. She did not bad mouth it. Although, bad mouthing it would be easy, because Kaijudo sucks.
Enjoy those past days before WotC decided to absolutely destroy every format by continually trying to outdo the format before it by printing cards that have progressively become more and more broken than the ones before it. Don't take that beautiful last time before War of the Spark when Magic was firing on all cylinders for the last time for granted... :(

T.T I've debated on buying some of the prerelease packs, though depending on the color they can be more or less than what the events were. And then the Challenge Decks! The Heroes Cards! I wish I could go backand play the events! /wine
Even though I've moved on to other tcgs, it's still heartwarming to watch this series. The jokes fly over my head most of the time, but when they land, it's glorious

The joke could still have worked with something like "Hey, Kathleen, what'll YOU be playing for the prerelease?" "Probably Magic." But alas, footage is footage, and they have not the time to do a reshoot like that.

If you look color wise, its probably blue-white-red-black-green power in that order when you consider eternal. Green was almost on par with blue back before they neutered the color (removing their card draw)
I dunno, I am one of the few Blue control, or Blue Black players that I know. I find that it is the most fun to play, but most people just hate it. It is too fun and easy to aggravate your opponent. I mean, I play it whenever it is actually competitive, but wont handicap myself just to play it. Green White, Jund Aggro, or just mono Black devo are all just way too good, and it is just too easy to make a decent Red aggro deck at the moment.

Agreeing with the bit with Grant and Alex, THE FLAVOUR is just amazing in this set. If I open up an Akroan Horse, you can bet your ass (badum-tish) that I'm going to make a deck around it!

I guess someone just didn't want the line referencing Kaijudo. Oh well. The line still makes sense. The question being what are you gonna play at the prerelease works with the answer, Probably better stick with magic.
I think we have all come to the dilemma of what to play at the prerelease at some point in our lives, like tommorrow. However i am determined to play blue!
The funny thing is, that during Graham's Thursday night's (9/19) draft stream, the viewers almost forced Graham to draft mono-white, until he opened Jace pack two. I picked the Path of Battle when I pre-registered for the prerelease btw.

not gonna lie, I sometimes (most of the time) give my cat a play by play of my games when I get home from FNM because the GF doesn't want to listen to magic lol
If you look at the rares you can get in your guildpack (as in: every black rare) they are all very decent. Black is the only color that only has playable rares. :) Im doubting what to play, I think I will play black in two headed (have you SEEN that grey merchant, jeez) but go with White for single. I always love combat tricks (selesnya agro was awesome in ravnica pre-releases) and I feel black needs support to really shine.
Were Graham and Kathleen a couple since the very start of Friday Nights? Or did they fall in love somewhere during show? Anyone know? The acting between them in early episodes seems to give a clues they are not together then. But I could be wrong.

I went # - # is the number if wins and losses, so I went 2 - 3 would be I won 2 matches and lost 3. Sometimes there is 3 numbers, such as I went 3-2-1, in which case the third number is the number of draws.
