Dude, thank you! All 4 of these have come out since I’ve had need to use a bass amp sim, and this was a really quick and useful way to sample their flavors. Much appreciated!
I have the SVT-3PRO and like it a lot, but Jesus Christ, why must the interface be so small that you have to put a magnifying glass in front of your computer screen!
V-4B currently listed at $39.99. And I have a voucher for $20 off with no minimum purchase required. Already used it to get the Rock Rack V3 (which is great) for only $9. Now they reset the $20 off voucher for another purchase. About to get the V-4B for $19.99. Use the sales, people! Always with plugins, do it this way
I send the UAD SVT-VR, without a Cab, to the Neural DSP Darkglass Cabinet, and that sounds super fat and tight. I can get a lot of tonal variety with the different mics in the Darkglass plugin, and the cab sounds very good.
We need more of these kinda videos......this is sooooo helpful.... as a normal peaceful guy...i say rage war!!!! keep the wars coming!! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT...Have a nice day!
The V-4B is hands down the one that fits in the mix the best IMO, I've acquired them all thanks to Dirks 29.99 deals he has from time to time, they're all great but the V-4B is a mix beast

Totally agree with V-4B being the best in the mix, by the way. The others have great clarity. But the V-4B sounds to my ears much more like a real bass being recorded
I have the Amplitube collection. While their guitar amps are great. The bass amps aren't that great. These Plugin Alliance Ampeg plugins blow them out of the water. Another good option is the Eden WT-800 plugin from Softube. Incredible bass amp plugin.
@@vejichan The Plugin Alliance amps have more life, more balls, more low end. Amplitube bass amps just have no life and the tone variety isn't really there. It's like someone neutered them lol.
This isn't MIDI bass?? Sounds like crappy MIDI bass to me! The fact that I "clearly see the audio tracks" doesn't say anything, could be converted to wave files... Not saying you're lying but holy crap they sound really bad.
@@v_a_n_e Thanks my friend! It's quite obvious that the "professionals" here are trying to sell their product without knowing what exactly was that free audio file from the Internet. Never mind. 😊 Happy New Year to everyone!
Please do these videos with the voice of vageta or the narrator of dragon ball z. But seriously dude I never do this but I'm gonna do the like and subacribey thing.
Funny thing is he claims it's not because we can "see the audio tracks in the video." Like because it's not like you can't convert midi to wav? "It's not MIDI or a virtual bass."🤔

I really like that Ampeg one!
Great vid thank you!
1/ SVT PRO 3
2/ SVT-VR
3/ B-15N
4/ V-4B
V-4B for me. The others have the clarity. The V-4B has the realism.
I have the B-15N and the SVT-VR, and couldn’t be happier. They cover anything needed. Great vid. Thanks!
SVT 3PRO is by far the most interesting... a mix of being warm, yet clear and fast! beautiful tone. that's the one!
that svt 3 has a amazing detail to it

Thanks 👍
B-15N for me, if I'd go for more modern sound SVT-3PRO. I lke overall character of VT-VR and V-4B but they are too loose on bottom end
B-15 n
Agreed
I have the SVT-3PRO and like it a lot, but Jesus Christ, why must the interface be so small that you have to put a magnifying glass in front of your computer screen!
Today, which would you choose? The Brainworx/Plugin-Alliance models, or the Ampeg SVT Suite pack?
Excellent format for comparison! Thank you!
Played through what bass?
You the man for this demo - thank you!
B-15N + V4B will be the full spectrum tools for all kind of tones.

I actually changed my mind and got the SVT-VR Ampeg
That's the one I prefer, or the SVT-3PRO.
Some amazing tones man!

My personal favourite is SVT-3PRO ...
SVT 3pro is a legend sounding
Svt3 and VR are amazing!!
We need more of these kinda videos......this is sooooo helpful.... as a normal peaceful guy...i say rage war!!!! keep the wars coming!! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT...Have a nice day!
SVT-3PRO for sure
SVT-VR (clarity) and SVT-3PRO (peaky metal tone)
Those are my two favorites as well.
@@BenoniStudio Mine too!
I would have to agree exactly.
Good stuff. Thank you.

$29 is a steal 🔥
The current price is $150

@@Melvin7727 Nice deals, I am getting the B15 and the V-4B. The Rock Rack is for free now.
Excellent, thanks
SVT-VR sounds the best
Which one would be most versatile? I make soul & stoner/prog rock (Tool-ish)...
I'd probably say the SVT-VR
@@BenoniStudio I concur...!!!
Thank you so much for this amazing comparison. So clear and different riffs, couldn't be better. V=4B my least favorite but I love the rest, lol
How do these compare to amplitube svt versions
I have the Amplitube collection. While their guitar amps are great. The bass amps aren't that great. These Plugin Alliance Ampeg plugins blow them out of the water. Another good option is the Eden WT-800 plugin from Softube. Incredible bass amp plugin.
@@ProfessorX931 can u tell me the difference?
What's the difference
@@vejichan The Plugin Alliance amps have more life, more balls, more low end. Amplitube bass amps just have no life and the tone variety isn't really there. It's like someone neutered them lol.
@@ProfessorX931 I play hard rock and metal. What do u recommend
1. SVT-VR
2. SVT-3PRO
3. V-4B
4. B-15N
That's pretty much my list as well.
In that order. I agree.
Ha,,, mine too
Shit changed my mind, SVT-3PRO sounded best
The SVT-3PRO sounds so good, deep, scooped but the low end is still defined and clear.
Won't work for everything, but for Rock/Metal sounded the best.
Bass used?
Seems to be a Precision tone along a midi sequence
Showcasing a virtual bass amp via a virtual/midi bass is just ridiculous for countless reasons. Great plugins by the way.
You can clearly see the audio tracks in the video. Its not MIDI or a virtual bass.
This is a testament to how good midi bass is. This guy thought it was midi lol
