Very nice tour Leah, the grounds of the apartments looked very nice too and you can rent a bike and they will even do your laundry.
Great video, but I agree with Randall’s comment below. A one bedroom apartment including amenities would be $670.00 US per month there. I’m currently paying less than that in the US! Paying that much in Valencia is insanity.
This is why people have become fed up with Air B&B. There are zero regulations and they allow people to overcharge and there's nothing that can be done about it.

I arrived in Dumaguete for a one week stay, the place was not what was advertised. I went on line and found Marpas Apartments , called and they had one left for a week. very nice place the owners were so helpful and the staff always there for the asking. Looking at the two bedroom apartment on Leah's vlog, wow the same one I stayed in. Very much recommended.

Hmm...that apartment is in Valencia, not London. The rental price is beyond exorbitant for that area
It’s a short term AirBnb and it might include Electricity. Without Elec I’m thinking $350 a month for 1 Bed Room. Only 1 Air Con unit, no thanks at any price. I have to have Air Con in the LR. It’s also poorly/cheaply furnished.
Sorry, this place is way overpriced. I pay 29k for 3 br 2 story with huge yard. I in a much more expensive area as well.

I like the one bedroom, it does seem a bit pricey though, not sure about that part of it, I would shop around before committing, I'd be interested in a longer-term lease depending on the number of roosters, dogs, and karaoke neighbors. The pool looks nice and clean and the grounds are seemingly well kept. The popularity of Dumagette and the surrounding areas seem to be driving prices up.

Families with small children are prohibited from staying upstairs in Marpas. It is pretty quiet as well. The rate drops a lot for 3+ months. Great landlords as well.
@Andrew cj Hello Andrew. We were living on Mindanao Island before moving here. We made three trips to scope out prices. However, we have two girls so we needed a minimum of two bedrooms furnished. Prices are definitely increasing since they reopened to tourism. That said, I do think you can find a nice studio in the area for 20k PhP.
We chose Marpas since it was in Valencia (= cooler weather), easy to walk to Valencia (14 minutes) and relatively quiet. You will need to be careful with real estate agents as your nationality can influence how much they charge. Be careful as not all "agents" have a license They so often "What is your budget?"

Very wise, I have lived in sub divisions and some people will make your life hell, respect and consideration is not high up on the menu here...
I live there and you seldom see the neighbors. They are friendly but keep to themselves. We have heard music only one time for about 15 minutes. There are no dogs. Interesting though, we do not need to use the A-C because it is cooler, so we would definitely hear the noise if it was there. 😊

I rented that same apt a few years ago it was 25,000 pesos per month the problem is the gas tank you get an empty tank, when you move out if the gas tank has gas you lose it they will not reimburse. you for the gas left in the tank,, also when you move out make sure you and the owner read the electric meter, the day you move out she already checked the meter, later when I left the premises I noticed the meter reading was lower than what she quoted me, kinda a scam, be careful.
