I stand corrected. This is one of the best auto racing productions I've seen since the old Diamond P broadcasts. Calling this production outstanding is an understatement.
The photography on your video is far better than I’ve seen in a long time. Crystal clear with great object tracking and lots of slow motion for us real motorheads. What a great page I’ve stumbled upon Keep up the fantastic work!!!! And thanks for your video contributions...so well done.
i was starting to get a little worried we wouldn't get to see les's edit of the event. whew. the master gets it done and we get to feel like we were at the event.thanks for the enrire seasons worth of videos les.
Beautiful, from the UK, just beautiful, this reminds me of when I used to get US drag vids on vhs as a kid about 25 yrs ago. Thank you so much, and a definite sub
Awesome as always Les...the Diamond P soundbites with Steve Evans really brings back memories when I was a kid watchin'...hope you come north of the border for the heritage race this year
A true pleasure to watch, thank you, from a drag racing fan of 40 years, I was rather disappointed not to see Jungle Pam backing in the Vega after burnout. She would bring a smile everytime, just wishful thinking lol.
What a great video - and what a surprise ending. I remember a lot of these cars they came to Florida - Ft Lauderdale and also of course the Gator National's
love the video! I do have a question though,,,what are drivers like Del Worsham and Jeff Arend doing in the nosalgia class? I havent been able to keep up with top classes lately but these were guys runnin the big fuel cars. Are they doing both? I'd be hard pressed to think their sponsors would be cool with that
best kind of drag racing ,but they need to adhere to the nostalgia dragster body style, some have front end like new top fuelers don't like it just sayin.

Absolutely agree,, top shelf this video!
Steve Evans, the longtime voice of NHRA drag racing, even, playing the track announcer in "More American Graffiti". He IS missed.

I remember when drag racing was like this. Grew up at New England Dragway in the 70's & 80's w/the 32 & 64 car FC meets. The good old days. ;)
I just love it when they run a quarter mile drag race. That's the way it's meant to be.
Awesome, I particularly love the way you incorperated the vintage Steve Evans and Brock Yates commentary. Fantastic job, love it.
The intro alone gained the thumbs up. The production on this is outstanding. And I'm only 2.5 minutes in.

This takes me back to 1989/90 era when burnouts would travel to half track and then some :D
SBJ666 -Do you remember the Chi-Town-Hustler Funny Car from about that same era? Full track burnouts. It was awesome.
