Speaking from the heart, Reaves reminds me of a young Larry Bird, I mean Larry Bird is a HOF and a Legend, which Reaves may never be, but he certainly shows signs of a very high bball IQ, moves well with the ball, his passes are on point, his decision making and court vision is above average and his shooting is not bad and will improve I believe. Reaves is definitely a keeper for us.
Many ppl attach too much their own expectationz to thingz like pick position n salary.. n not enuf on fit n opportunitiez.. like switch Russ salary with Monk n suddenly Russ iz a beast again.. giv Reaves the salary of THT or a lottery pick n suddenly his praize leavez..
This year I agree AR15 is the most valuable player in their young core. but next season let see if he continue to improve his game or will THT can catch up with him.. I'm excited to see what will happen next season. Lets Go Lakers!
I'm going to keep it real...for fans CONSTANTLY calling for THT and Nunn to be traded is not very smart. The Lakers don't have legitimate picks for a long time. Ok, got that out. THT has been mismanaged for a minute. I think Vogel has used him as a wing and that was a MAJOR mistake. He is a combo guard that is strong downhill attacker to the rim. I would like to see a coach establish an offensive system that may give THT some structure....
Well said. The best image we’ve gotten of THT in a proper role was when AD and Bron were both out last season. THT became the primary playmaker behind Schroder at that time and thrived in that role. It’s hard to cater to a guy like THT, but in order to maximize his value on their team, they need to do better at it moving forward
Agree. Vogel has mismanaged a lot of our players and has been the reason for a lot of young talent not to be used and subsequently let go, I'm so relieved that Vogel is gone but wish I do him all the best going forward.
@@JSM24 I honestly think structure in both ends would benefit him and the misplaced hype that Pestinka and Vogel out on him as a defender was also detrimental.

THT is the type of player who can be effective easily when he wants to. He is an excellent role player and is solid on defense. Austin, has star potential. He has a otherworldly passing ability, is great at drawing charges, and his defense is very versatile. If we use him the right way, he can he can be a scary offensive threat that we lost in Caruso. He and macclung possess something that we lost in him. Both of them in a closing lineup generates good defense and offensive three point shooting. THT has a lot to work on. Right now, a trade to a rebuilding team can help his game a lot. I don't think a win now team like us can benefit properly from him. If we choose to keep him, then prioritizing him and Reaves to build them into a backcourt duo can help us with closing lineups. GG jsm! Keep it coming man 💯

Hey JSM, great video. Always excited whenever you drop a new video. I’ve got a couple questions. 1. Do you think the Lakers are going to grab anybody valuable and good pieces during the off-season after this “experiment” season?
Luol Deng’s dead cap salary was an annual 5M cost for them on their payroll. It didn’t affect them that much unless they were hard-capped (like they were in 2020-21). The Los Angeles Lakers already have minimum salary team options for Austin Reaves, Stanley Johnson and Wenyen Gabriel next season, so all they need to do is exercise them. Westbrook, $47 Mi, Shot 44% FG, 29.8% 3pts, 295 TOS, Missed 35% of Dunks, Shot air balls, shot off the top of the backboard, and took Zero Accountability for His Poor Play. He Does not fit with the Lakers and Must be Traded or Waived at Any Cost! ✌️🏆✌️

Malik Monk, on the other hand, is a free agent, so the Lakers need to move whatever salary is needed to offer Monk a competitive deal.
The obvious move is to trade Russell Westbrook, but that may not free up any cap space at all, if the other NBA team in the trade sends only players L.A. wants to keep rather than picks or waivable assets. In that case, the Lakers need to consider THT as tradeable, as Kendrick Nunn has both a lesser salary as well as a lesser perceived value than THT. 💁🏻♂️🏀
Yep Russ is gotta go.
I think Westbrook killed THT this year he kept the ball out his hands I think he will have a bounce back year if Westbrook is gone Reeves is a really good role player
Lakers need Tacko 🌮 Fall ! 🤔
For what, to be their mascot? Lmao
Talen's better than Austin imo, he's also younger and has more potential,
Monk is solid too but he’s probably leaving
THT basketball IQ also can be SUS at times
Reaves has great potential and I'd like to think he can develop into an elite player. THT, as I mentioned before, is like Westbrook 2.0. Too many turnovers and forced bad shots and not enough passes when he in trouble. Ego bigger than talent.
What has Austin reeves did this year, that would make him so valuable to the Lakers, these are the same talking points the media was doing with Alex Caruso, the white media is trying to make this dude the face of the Lakers, that will never happen, anyway where is Alex Caruso?
maau mangud na moduwa bataa gd dleh lang na silah ka show kay naa man c lebron
I'm a Warriors fan and I would like to Lakers organization that Austin Reeves deserves to be let go to pursue a spot on the GSW team. Thanks!
THT should go to a different team. He seems to care more about his own stats too much
