Phew! Absolutely stunning cover! The best I’ve heard from you yet! How can you possibly top this? The opening track AND the reprise! Both flawless again with great playing on all instruments. What can I say that I haven’t already said about the vocals? Fantastic tight close harmonies. These covers must take you some time to put together, yet they sound so fresh...once again, a joy to listen to...Pitch perfect 👌😉

Awesome cover of the intro and reprise of the greatest album ever made. I am still amazed at your incredible attention to detail on all your tracks within the song itself Amy. I know in your interview you mentioned you were partial to more of the later Beatles recordings which I am myself. It would be interesting to see how you would fare on songs such as Lucy in the sky, or Strawberry fields, certainly more difficult songs to record, but if anyone could do it i'm sure it would be you.

Dear Amy, I have been a die-hard Beatles Fan all my life (I'm just 61!). That being said, I have also been very critical of Beatles covers. But you've done a great job and pretty much all by yourself too. You have great talent and I love how you use the originally played instruments throughout most of your songs. Your'e Father is ,I'm sure , very proud of you too! . Like him I''m fortunate that all my kids (6!) are Beatles fansas well. I cut my teeth on "I will" when I was 13 and have been "grinning and picking" ever since. The Beatles got me through Vietnam and home safe too! Please keep up the great work! Never thought I'd enjoy a female doing Beatles until I heard you, this song makes it to my top 5 of your covers.
Correct, never felt the need to listen to Beatles covers until very recently, and still don't feel the need to explore very deeply. It was just by chance browsing genuine Beatles clips that I ran into this, glad I did.
I don't see it that way. Sure there are alot of interesting things to see that other people are doing, but the time I spend seeking and watching that is time I could have been practicing my own music, or spending time with my kids, walking my dogs or catching up on any number of things around the house.
I am a hard working guy and often have over 80 hours work in a week, a home business also, family, property and vehicles to maintain ect .. So in the scheme of things, watching other people play songs on youtube ranks fairly low right now, maybe some day that will change.
I really don't - Between the Beatles themselves and my own playing, thats about all the listening I'll ever need.
Amy does a stellar job and very unique with the fem voice, so I've added her to my very small list of things I'll listen to.
You seem a little weirded out that other peoples listening/watching habits are not in line with your own. I generally never go seeking this stuff, like I said I was looking at Beatles clips on my smart TV and stumbled across this else I never would have found it.
To me, thats part of the beauty and attraction to this site - An awful lot of crap, but you can stumble across a nice nugget every now and then.
Don't see where you got that I only listen to 1 band, far far from the case.
I said, as far as the Beatles go, I don't feel the need to listen to others doing covers of them. And that would hold true for any band that I like.

See, you seem butthurt because I'm not like you or something, and that I find weird. I'm not losing anything, I am gaining by concentrating on what I like and my own music rather than oohing and ahhing what everyone else is doing.
We all have our priorities, maybe you situation allows you the leisure to sit around hours a day watching videos, mine doesn't and its about as simple as that.

There was - is something special about this album to a generation of American young men who fought in Vietnam. The album was released in 67 - I graduated from high school that year and eventually bought the album. By 1968, my cousin was in the USMC on liberty staying with my family - We listened to this one album throughout the day. He was in Vietnam when I eventually became a member of the USMC in June of 69. The album was great - but in my life - the era was filled with tragedy for my friends and me.
I made it out of the 70s alive and somewhat sane - some of my friends we less fortunate.

It was Paul's song, just an ordinary rock number ... but when we had finished it, Paul said, "Why don't we make the album as though the Pepper band really existed, as though Sergeant Pepper was making the record? We'll dub in effects and things." I loved the idea, and from that moment on it was as though Pepper had a life of its own..."
