It's likely on a dimmer, it's a Lutron Toggler, and I had never seen solid state speed control version, but I had seen flourescent version, which COULD be the same thing as solid state speed control (I tested solid state on dimmable LED and it works well). All I know is that it's fully variable, and it spins slightly slower than factory low when on minimum, but doesn't stall unlike most incandescent dimmers. It used to be noisier but I silenced it a bit by switching the chain from low to high by removing the chain nut. Also Casablanca Concentra in this generation are prone to humming noise even without fully variable control.
My family and I are so cheap that we all share one tub of water a day. We don’t have cooties. We’re never that dirty. It just makes sense to use the same water.
