Thank you Good Energy for the video. Yeah, I was very disappointed but listening to your video has quieted me some. Yes, to be honest, the FH to FH exchanges was a terrible mistake. It didn't work against Bencic, it wasn't going to work against Badosa. The passivity was also very evident, with Badosa winning 68% of her second serves and Coco winning 44% of hers!! But how did the errors come? 41 UEs (including 6 DFs, 28 FH errors). How did these come? I think they came when Badosa started playing good. If Coco had started playing aggressively from the first game - taking the ball away from Badosa (esp from her FH), she would have had fewer errors.
I am so disappointed, I feel pain for Coco. However, she will come back stronger for sure. This was a tough loss. She should not have lost the first set. I am now rooting for Madison Keys.
Coco you were fantastic dont worry about this loss. Your game is superb love watching your matches. Its a tough sport keep your spirits up you are already in the hall of fame in my opinion🎉.
I just finished watching the replay. I am not good with statistics. I don't think anything could have saved Coco if she didn't want to be there. Coco looked fatigued and somewhat disoriented. It is rare to see Coco miss so many easy shots. I don't think targeting the forehand or backhand could have made the difference since she was having difficulty putting the ball across the net. Coco fought like the worthy champion she is and she never gave up. She was clearly not in the best physical or mental shape. Congratulations Paula Badosa. Coco will surely win at least two Grandslams this year. I am static about that. She certainly has learned something from this tough loss. Paula Badosa is going to celebrate this win for the rest of her life .
How did Paula do it? How did Paula do it? Coco Played DOWN to Paula's level!! Once I saw the 187th ranked player take Coco to the brink, I KNEW she was not going to win anyone's Australian Open!!! I am PISSTT beyond belief!! How can she beat the #1 and#2 players in the world and struggle against lesser ranked players???? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE GAME PLAN! AS ALWAYS, great analysis, Good Energy!! You nailed it!!!! Coco's team were foolish for coming up with that insane game plan!!! At the same time, where was Coco's excellent problem solving??? I cannot even describe my disappointment in Coco as well!! Good Energy, PLEASE stop using Coco's age was an excuse for her failures!!! That cannot be an excuse anymore. Coco is WAY TO TALENTED!!!!
Sorry coco. Dont worry still my favourate player ..you will get therr
I don't think Badosa can get through Sabalenka in the next match. It is a pity that Coco lost.
