Sir. You deserve everything you get and more, I have a '00 TL & my mom has a 98 4runner and your channel has helped me out of what seemed like world ending binds, wish you could diagnose'em both because they both clearly still have issues.
This kinda scares me. I just had a new fuel pump put in almost a year ago and two weeks ago I blew my EFI main fuse. It hasn’t blown again since but I have definitely noticed all the same symptoms she mentioned like reduced power and lights dimming. To be fair about a month ago my battery came loose on a bumpy road and welded itself to the hood of the car (I was able to fix that). Now I’m not sure which event caused the fuse to blow haha
I don’t know why she replace the fuel pump but I expect it’s related. She’ll be getting the entire assembly and I’ll do a second video on it shortly to follow up.. i’m guessing you keep your gas tank full on your Toyota’s 👍🏽 But yeah Toyotas make some good stuff
My 93 is blowing the fuse but I installed a new pump and the fuse does not blow when the keyis in the on position and the pump is running. It blows when I turn the key and try to start it. Any ideas? I swapped the ECU and the opening circuit relay. No difference. I have fuel to the fuel rail. Can a bad fuel pump main relay cause it? Is there a relay in addition to the open circuit relay? It sat for a number of years. Mice eating wires going to the injectors?
Dude, you are really good with troubleshooting! I always learn something from your videos.

Nice find, I love your way of finding the issue.

What made her to replace the fuel pump at the first place? I have 4 toyotas and 3 are above 220K miles. All got OEM fuel pumps (one is at 290K miles).
