It was more scary coming down. But the Tynee didn’t skip a beat !

I used to roller blade down that hill and got them at 50kph and just skim over them

It is the perfect road and scene to ride. I plan on doing the same in TW. They have a lot of roads like this hidden in the mountains.

No issues at all, I was worried it might pump too much back in but has no over current warnings at all.
Been to NZ twice not sure I ever saw any shallow gradients . Wow that looked like fun .
