Wode Maya, I am so glad that you made this video. Africa is a nature lover's paradise but not enough African people know that. When I talk to Europeans about their travels in Africa, they tell me about the beautiful natural places that they have visited in Africa. I only know about the amazing, colourful, tropical birds in Gambia because a white couple told me about their holiday in Gambia - spent birdwatching! Can you imagine - a holiday for people who want to take pictures of birds! Would we do this? Most of us Africans prefer the material world because most of us are very materialistic. We love going to Dubai because it fulfils our fantasy of living in a materialistic playground-paradise. I'm not criticising Africans who visit Dubai because it is beautiful, but I notice that we are super excited to visit places like Dubai because it is so glamourous and high tech and ultra modern looking. When I have visited animal parks and tropical gardens and natural places in other parts of the world, I have realised that African countries need to do more to promote the beauty of their own natural places. Jamaica, for example, is a poor country but they really promote their natural places to a competitive level. They use Nature to attract people. They use gardeners and probably horticulturalists to create something out of nothing by just planning how they plant the trees, the flowers and the pedestrian walk-ways for maximum effect. African countries do this to some extent but not competitively. This video shows that every African country should have well organised, properly landscaped, colourful public gardens and animal parks.
