She then uses her knowledge of the comics she's in to become a superhero and asks someone to design a costume for her. The costume designer however, seeing that her name was "gwen poole" thought she was related to deadpool and inspired gwenpool's costume after him. She wears the costume and doesn't question it because she never read any deadpool comics.

I find it interesting with the remix inclusions. In my view, for Jones and Peely it is kind of justified. Both were heroes of the Loop and saved the island, but yeah, could have been item shop alternates too.

I love the marvel battle pass for season 4 I honestly would be dissapointed if there isn't a pink and ink style for all the marvel characters. It's not peak like the last marvel battlepass but it's cool. I wish it was like the last marvel battle pass I missed cuz that was an all marvel battlepass. Just wish we would stop getting jonesy, peely, meowscles, fishsticks,slurp variants in the battlepass and just put them in item shops.Those spots could have been for marvel characters we haven't had, winter soldier, punisher, Fantasic four instead of forcing the community to spend mad expensive money on cyclops and newer collabs in item shop by forcing them in a bundle. Some collabs feels like it caters to much to the kids.

The reason gwenpool is so weird is because she wasn’t ever supposed to be a real character. I think she started out as cover art, then it snowballed. It was just a play on spider Gwen.
Oh i know her backstory! It's definitely a unique one because then the character took on a life of its own when ppl started cosplaying her before she was even an actual character.
In my opinion, it's great, that there is peelverine and captain jones in the battle pass, bec I am a relatively new player and really like jones and peely, so it's a great opportunity to get both skins. But I understand, that it would also be great to get two more pure marvel skins.
In the item shop it's also confirmed that we will be getting FishPool (a deadpool and fishtick mix) And during the disney event irl outside there was a line up of a bunch of peelverine's. But in that line up you also had a PeelPool (a mix of peely and deadpool) So either PeelyPool will be an item shop skin or it could be a selectable style for the peelverine skin.

Captain Jones is better than both the other Captain america skins imo. And they probably threw him and peelverine in there because alot of people complained about the full on collab BP last time
Best part about this season is I bought myself a really cool gaming chair and it's gonna arrive at the same day as the new season. I will finally throw that kitchen chair. I was a type of guy with a high end pc and all the other equipments but still using a kitchen chair :D
Another nitpick I have besides the 2 mashups' inclusion in the battlepass, is why did they go for a another Captain America themed mashup again? I feel like they could've gone with another character for Jones like Iron Man or someone else. Brite Bomber already has a Captain America themed skin. And this also goes for the upcoming Deadpool themed Peely and Fishsticks, just feels a little excessive with no variety. At least Meowscles has his Sabertooth skin.
I am so happy with another marvel battlepass, but epic can't use the "we have mythic lightsabers" excuse to not make them pickaxes when we have cap's shield as a weapon and pickaxe. Edit: almost forgot the TMNT stuff too, when will we get lightsabers?
I too have the same complaint about the peelverine and captain Jones skins, personally I feel like they would've worked better in the item shop. Tbh I kinda actually wanted cyclops to be battlepass, which would've left the peelverine skin to be in the pack with Colossus and Jubilee. Winter Soldier would've also been a solid replacement for Captain Jones too
I agree with you about the Captain Jonesy. He's so basic and doesn't seem to deserve an entire battlepass slot. HOWEVER, Peelverine, in my opinion, is a great addition to the pass, as the formula they've been doing is that there needs to be one meme skin per bp. It's an awesome addition and a lot of people will be happy about it! In my opinion, Nightcrawler should've replaced Captain Jonesy, and i'm hoping Winter Soldier comes to the Shop. The only reason i think winter soldier should come to the shop instead is because not many people know who he is, and his design is super basic. Plus, i think it makes more sense to have Winter Soldier with just a back bling, a pickaxe, and maybe a wrap. That can't fit in an entire bp slot, but i can think of so many gags to have in Peelverine's set that wouldn't make sense in an Item Shop bundle.
Since Hope has cat themed clothes I get what you're saying but making her a black panther remix would probably be a bad idea. A) she's white B) It would imply that she went to wakanda and won the battle to take on the mantle of black panther which I couldn't see happening. But I do agree Hope should have been a remix skin as well. But I do like the new outfit we've seen so far!
Honestly, this is the first battle pass where I don't dislike a single skin in it. My least favorite is Emma Frost, but that's literally only because I don't know much about her compared to the others and I'm excited to get her regardless since her design is AWESOME. 10/10 battle pass, the only other one that I've ever given this ranking to was Chapter 2 Season 2

I’m predicting that these will be the skins second page styles Gwenpool should get an evil Gwenpool style War mashiene gets an iron patriot style Peelverine should get a classic brown and yellow style OR X-force Emma frost should get the full diamond look with a built in emote to change Captain jonesy should get a fortnite default colored style Mysterio should get a fully classic comics suit style Shuri should also get her classic suit And doctor doom should get an emperor doom style!

Personally mysterio is my favorite marvel character of all time and I’m glad they did in justice in the newish spiderman movie and this Fortnite season but for some reason everyone is obsessed with this random chick I have never heard of Emma frost or something like that tbh the only 2 characters that make the season not perfect are Emma frost and Sheri
Just imagine, you see the exact same scene in the trailer play out where the shield is thrown and then gets caught, it slowly lowers to reveal that bucky caught it. People would have lost their minds over that. You couldn’t have said it better though, the mashups don’t look bad but it’s just a shame that they wasted 2 battle pass slots on them. As one of the unfortunate people that miss the first marvel battle pass i was really excited for a full pass of iconic characters. Especially with the change to future battle passes I thought they’d go all out for this one. They half assed the pass with mash up skins thst should be in the shop and they gave us a janky version of sabertooth before getting the actual sabertooth. If they end up putting the real sabertooth in the shop before the pass is over then that's just another nail in the coffin. First off, I literally complimented the remix skins in the video, I wasn't dissing lol It's a Marvel collab season, the battle pass should be all marvel characters just like the first marvel season back in chapter 2. It still had the fortnite feel even with all marvel characters in the pass. The remix skins are good skins but they are item shop skins like britestar, cuddlepool, and ravenpool.
I love this battle pass. Mysterio is easily my favorite. His suit looks so good and unlike thor from the first marvel battle pass I think he benefits from being comic accurate. The only one I don’t care about or like is Emma frost but she still alright

We’ve only ever had one marvel themed battlepass and it was years ago but everything in it was marvel. To finally get a second one and knowing we could have had 2 new characters really sucks, who knows when the next one would be. I understand doom coming back because we all know this lcollab is only happening because marvel is advertising for the future doomsday movie but if that’s the case couldn’t they have given us more characters? For me the battle pass characters that Fortnite choice that thought was amazing such as Emma Frost, Dr Doom, and War Machine, there were only three skins in the battle pass that I thought could have been used for better characters , the characters that I not have in the battle pass was Captain America x Jonsey, Wolverine x Peely , Shuri Black Panther. The reason I would not want these skin in the battle pass is bc the Fortnite Characters crossed with Marvel characters and Shuri she looks like the OG black panther skin that is the main reason why bc I like the design I just think she would be a better shop or crew skin. Anyway the characters I would replace them with would be Magik, Scorpion, and Adam Warlock.
I seriously do not understand why most people like this battlepass. 90% of it is just worse versions of skins that are already in the game. The only reason i can see people liking this pass is if they dont own most of the old skins but if you do this pass is terrible. You basically get 2 skins which are emma frost and mysterio. Iron man > War Machine Deadpool > Gwenpool Og doom > New doom Wolverine > Peely wolverine Captain America > Captain Jones Black panther > Shuri All of these skins should have been in the item shop This pass should have had punisher (seriously how is he not in the game yet when he is by far the most perfect fit for the game), winter soldier, vision, ultron, nightcrawler, adam warlock, yondu nova, 1 of the fantastic 4, quicksilver, emma frost, mysterio or kang (i suspect kang was originally the villain of this season but was replaced with dr doom just like he was in the mcu) Recently fortnite are experts at having amazing battlepass themes that i should be a massive fan of (marvel is my favourite franchise and was my favourite season) and instead massively disappointing me (same with the Greek season)

I would love to see some more street level villains and anti-heroes in the game, the new ultimate bullseye design goes so hard and I’d love to have it in game, along with a Garth Ennis looking Punisher.
I think my biggest downside for the Marvel season is all four of the Mashup skins that have been revealed. The main reason is because they are all characters that already have a ton of skins when other skins could use a new version. Jonesy is generic and the face reveal wasn't hype. I feel like it would have had better impact if it was a character who doesn't get new skins, like Polar Patroller in a Captain America suit. The Sabertooth mashup is disappointing in my opinion because they have Oscar, a literal tiger, who doesn't have a store skin yet. However, Meowscles already has skins that can be purchased from the store. Peely, in my opinion, is overdone as a character and literally just got a new skin during the mythology season. Fishstick is also getting a deadpool skin and I feel like he doesn't need anymore skins for a long time.

I agree with you, with those 2 extra battle pass skins that are from fortnite and mashed over with Marvel, the only problem that was with chapter 2 season 4 at the time was that people who didn't like Marvel was "forced" into a full season pass of marvel. My believe is that this time around they created extra characters who are from marvel but at the same time mixed with Fortnite. At least this is my believe could be wrong, but could actually be one of the reasons for them to actually not to give us a full season pass of Marvel like last time. This is because one of my friends was really pissed back in season 4, he didnt like Marvel and didnt get why he was forced into a full season of it with skins of the battle pass he didnt like.

Captain Jones is better than both the other Captain america skins imo. And they probably threw him and peelverine in there because alot of people complained about the full on collab BP last time

Best part about this season is I bought myself a really cool gaming chair and it's gonna arrive at the same day as the new season. I will finally throw that kitchen chair. I was a type of guy with a high end pc and all the other equipments but still using a kitchen chair :D
I think with having peelverine and captain jonesy it makes this marvel battle pass more creative than the last one
Another nitpick I have besides the 2 mashups' inclusion in the battlepass, is why did they go for a another Captain America themed mashup again? I feel like they could've gone with another character for Jones like Iron Man or someone else. Brite Bomber already has a Captain America themed skin. And this also goes for the upcoming Deadpool themed Peely and Fishsticks, just feels a little excessive with no variety. At least Meowscles has his Sabertooth skin.

I am so happy with another marvel battlepass, but epic can't use the "we have mythic lightsabers" excuse to not make them pickaxes when we have cap's shield as a weapon and pickaxe.

I too have the same complaint about the peelverine and captain Jones skins, personally I feel like they would've worked better in the item shop. Tbh I kinda actually wanted cyclops to be battlepass, which would've left the peelverine skin to be in the pack with Colossus and Jubilee. Winter Soldier would've also been a solid replacement for Captain Jones too

I agree with you about the Captain Jonesy. He's so basic and doesn't seem to deserve an entire battlepass slot. HOWEVER, Peelverine, in my opinion, is a great addition to the pass, as the formula they've been doing is that there needs to be one meme skin per bp. It's an awesome addition and a lot of people will be happy about it! In my opinion, Nightcrawler should've replaced Captain Jonesy, and i'm hoping Winter Soldier comes to the Shop. The only reason i think winter soldier should come to the shop instead is because not many people know who he is, and his design is super basic. Plus, i think it makes more sense to have Winter Soldier with just a back bling, a pickaxe, and maybe a wrap. That can't fit in an entire bp slot, but i can think of so many gags to have in Peelverine's set that wouldn't make sense in an Item Shop bundle.

Since Hope has cat themed clothes I get what you're saying but making her a black panther remix would probably be a bad idea. A) she's white B) It would imply that she went to wakanda and won the battle to take on the mantle of black panther which I couldn't see happening. But I do agree Hope should have been a remix skin as well. But I do like the new outfit we've seen so far!

Honestly, this is the first battle pass where I don't dislike a single skin in it. My least favorite is Emma Frost, but that's literally only because I don't know much about her compared to the others and I'm excited to get her regardless since her design is AWESOME.
10/10 battle pass, the only other one that I've ever given this ranking to was Chapter 2 Season 2

Personally mysterio is my favorite marvel character of all time and I’m glad they did in justice in the newish spiderman movie and this Fortnite season but for some reason everyone is obsessed with this random chick I have never heard of Emma frost or something like that tbh the only 2 characters that make the season not perfect are Emma frost and Sheri

Just imagine, you see the exact same scene in the trailer play out where the shield is thrown and then gets caught, it slowly lowers to reveal that bucky caught it. People would have lost their minds over that. You couldn’t have said it better though, the mashups don’t look bad but it’s just a shame that they wasted 2 battle pass slots on them. As one of the unfortunate people that miss the first marvel battle pass i was really excited for a full pass of iconic characters. Especially with the change to future battle passes I thought they’d go all out for this one. And I absolutely agree with the sabertooth point like how are they going to give us a mash up of a character before giving us the actual character first?

They half assed the pass with mash up skins thst should be in the shop and they gave us a janky version of sabertooth before getting the actual sabertooth.

Your nitpick dissing new characters. If there is only already made Marvel characters then it removes the Fortnite feel to the battle pass.
First off, I literally complimented the remix skins in the video, I wasn't dissing lol It's a Marvel collab season, the battle pass should be all marvel characters just like the first marvel season back in chapter 2. It still had the fortnite feel even with all marvel characters in the pass. The remix skins are good skins but they are item shop skins like britestar, cuddlepool, and ravenpool.
I love everything but i am worried that the War Machine mythic is just going to be a flying man-size brute 😭

I love this battle pass. Mysterio is easily my favorite. His suit looks so good and unlike thor from the first marvel battle pass I think he benefits from being comic accurate. The only one I don’t care about or like is Emma frost but she still alright

You hit it right on the dot! I’m very dissapointed 2 of the slots weren’t used for marvel characters and it makes no sense to me having captain jones and pealverine in those slots either. We’ve only ever had one marvel themed battlepass and it was years ago but everything in it was marvel. To finally get a second one and knowing we could have had 2 new characters really sucks, who knows when the next one would be. I understand doom coming back because we all know this lcollab is only happening because marvel is advertising for the future doomsday movie but if that’s the case couldn’t they have given us more characters? It feels more like an event not a battlepass

For me the battle pass characters that Fortnite choice that thought was amazing such as Emma Frost, Dr Doom, and War Machine, there were only three skins in the battle pass that I thought could have been used for better characters , the characters that I not have in the battle pass was Captain America x Jonsey, Wolverine x Peely , Shuri Black Panther. The reason I would not want these skin in the battle pass is bc the Fortnite Characters crossed with Marvel characters and Shuri she looks like the OG black panther skin that is the main reason why bc I like the design I just think she would be a better shop or crew skin. Anyway the characters I would replace them with would be Magik, Scorpion, and Adam Warlock.

I seriously do not understand why most people like this battlepass. 90% of it is just worse versions of skins that are already in the game. The only reason i can see people liking this pass is if they dont own most of the old skins but if you do this pass is terrible. You basically get 2 skins which are emma frost and mysterio.

All of these skins should have been in the item shop
This pass should have had punisher (seriously how is he not in the game yet when he is by far the most perfect fit for the game), winter soldier, vision, ultron, nightcrawler, adam warlock, yondu nova, 1 of the fantastic 4, quicksilver, emma frost, mysterio or kang (i suspect kang was originally the villain of this season but was replaced with dr doom just like he was in the mcu)
Recently fortnite are experts at having amazing battlepass themes that i should be a massive fan of (marvel is my favourite franchise and was my favourite season) and instead massively disappointing me (same with the Greek season)
As soon as this battle pass releases I’m grinding for war machine😭🙏

FACTS
I think my biggest downside for the Marvel season is all four of the Mashup skins that have been revealed. The main reason is because they are all characters that already have a ton of skins when other skins could use a new version. Jonesy is generic and the face reveal wasn't hype. I feel like it would have had better impact if it was a character who doesn't get new skins, like Polar Patroller in a Captain America suit. The Sabertooth mashup is disappointing in my opinion because they have Oscar, a literal tiger, who doesn't have a store skin yet. However, Meowscles already has skins that can be purchased from the store. Peely, in my opinion, is overdone as a character and literally just got a new skin during the mythology season. Fishstick is also getting a deadpool skin and I feel like he doesn't need anymore skins for a long time.

I agree with you, with those 2 extra battle pass skins that are from fortnite and mashed over with Marvel, the only problem that was with chapter 2 season 4 at the time was that people who didn't like Marvel was "forced" into a full season pass of marvel.
My believe is that this time around they created extra characters who are from marvel but at the same time mixed with Fortnite.
At least this is my believe could be wrong, but could actually be one of the reasons for them to actually not to give us a full season pass of Marvel like last time. This is because one of my friends was really pissed back in season 4, he didnt like Marvel and didnt get why he was forced into a full season of it with skins of the battle pass he didnt like.
