Love love loved the creative section at the end. As someone who works in a creative field, we're constantly looking for tactile ways to channel our creativity outside of our day job. It's a great therapeutic release that is good for the soul. Dropping perfectionism is a great practice & embracing what can be perceived as flaws. Flaws are beautiful!
I live in a rural state so air quality isn't an issue unless there's a grass fire blowing smoke here... but to your point on allergies, oh my God, YES. They have definitely gotten worse and the seasons are longer. I had to add allergy medication too - a pill, nasal spray, and eye drops. The skin around my eyes and my eyelids are more sensitive too. I thought it was just me getting older but I think the allergy aspect may be playing a part.
I’m someone who cannot use Vitamin C. I use the ordinary pycnogenal and the timeless q10 (3 years or so) serum in the AM. Love the combination of antioxidants.
Your art work is so beautiful. I love the ones with colored pencil on the black paper! I paint too (mainly with acrylics), but I work so much that I always talk myself out of painting in order to get work done (my work is also creative, so I can't really complain too much). You have inspired me to be sure that I make time to paint again-even if it's just for short periods of time. What is the point of life if we aren't making time for the things that make us happy?! Thank you!!
I used to paint with acrylics, but after moving, I didn't have the space for it anymore, so it's been years since I've painted. Recently I've started watching a lot of watercolor artists on shorts and I've been kind of obsessed, so I bought some supplies from one of the artists I follow and now I'm going to start taking her class too! I'm so excited to start! Now, seeing your beautiful geometry shapes and painting, I'd love to try that once I start getting the hang of watercolors. Those were stunning Kelly, thanks for the inspiration! Oh and the creator I follow is called Rebel Unicorn, and I love her sketch book exercises for beginners. She really inspired me to start painting again but with a new medium!
I have been using timeless products for more than 10 years now. They were the Vit C, Co-enzyme Q10 and Matrixyl Synth 6. It was just last year since I added K- beauty products that I stopped them to try out new products. Stratia vit C has co-enzyme Q10, and between stratia interface and the ordinary multipeptide serum, I hope I am getting more peptides. I added mary & may idebenone +blackberry complex cream and torriden solid-in ceramide serum for antioxidant and ceramide benefits. With antioxidants, it is difficult to gauge benefits both on using and stopping, so I hope I did not undo my 10 years of use !! The timeless eye serum - the one with Hyaluronic Acid and peptides - is okay - only used it a few times (smells rancid) but it is much better than the ordinary which dries me out.
Re: allergies, it would be really cool if you made a video focusing specifically on that! The allergies are hitting a lot of us more and more, and, yes, it affects our skin!
Thank you, Kelly 😊! I appreciate your reviews! The Timeless Serum sounds so beneficial, & not too expensive 😉. Thank you, too, especially for your creative ideas at the end ❤. I love art, & I can't wait to get a book like yours with the geo designs, & just let my mind take the day away 🦋. You're the best, Kelly ❤. You don't have to, but you always take the extra time to give more, & I always appreciate you 🌻. Happy Days 😹!
As an allergy sufferer, I have been able to tame it a lot more using Turmeric with bioperine daily for the last few years and it is the only thing that helps and I find that I use less anti-allergy medication. Hope you see this ;-)
I hear so many good things about roundlab products! I need to try some. My favorite products this month are the Isdin sunscreen and sulwahsoo serum and essence. Oh and I'm really liking the torridien lip essence, it's so simple but so nourishing. Creativity is so important. I've been playing some games on my switch and might start up embroidery again ❤
I have not heard much of Face Theory for a few years, I remember they were popular back during covid. I really like Round Lab as a brand, I bought their cream cleanser, sunscreen, gel cleanser and toner :) Skin fix is really expensive, but the ingredients look great. Just wondering if you know of any cheaper K-Beauty alternatives?]
Illiyoon would be a similar cream option to Skinfix (no peptides but big focus on lipids to heal the skin barrier) it's a large size and really affordable!
Kelly, do you have any recommendations for sunscreen options that aren’t like, the super heavy super water/sweat resistant ones meant for exercising or going to the beach, but also aren’t completely lacking any kind of sweat resistance like the super light ones? I want something middle of the road to use as a daily sunscreen in a hot, humid, tropical climate :’) i’ve been thinking of starting retinoids, and im scared of making my skin photosensitive and then the sunscreen i use during the day just melting with regular daily sweat and air humidity 😭 but the ones i’ve tried so far that advertised themselves as water proof have felt uncomfortable on my skin for daily use…
I like the Benton Cica Gel Sunscreen and Kaine Sunscreen (it claims it's water resistant, but definitely not thick). I don't know if it's accessible in your area but I really like Avene Very High Protection Fragrance Free Fluid. It's water resistant, very protective but not super thick or heavy. I wore this one in the summer months in Greece (including humid islands!)
How does one learn what the ‘higher end’ brands names are in k-beauty. When you’re not familiar with the brands, it’s so hard to choose. Especially when you are older and used to medical grade skincare. Also. Where is the best place to shop for K beauty skin care? Again loving your channel.
hey kelly ❤is the round lab toner similar to keep cool one …i love keep cool toner….my skin lovee it i tried purito toner but its heavier than keep cool i want something like keep cool pls do reply 😂
April, check out The Artists Way by Julia Cameron. This book helps you rediscover your creative side, especially helpful for us who have lost touch with that part of ourselves. That book helped me out of a very confusing time and helped me start this channel! ❤
Love the routine but i have something to get off my chest. I used to love the skinfix bc of its richness but a lot of people including you mentioned not liking the thickness which is disappointing that they reformulated it. Not everyone can afford or wants to use 3+ products. I liked using the one product to treat my eczema as afterall it is a BARRIER product now it pills and i have to reapply. Its a shame that the reveiwers on sephora ruin a good product instead of finding a fast absorbing moisturizer to go with their multiple step routines. Now I can see that you have to use TWO moisturizers bc it has thinned out. im not trying to sound rude but this is what iv noticed among a lot of sephora products skinfix, biossance caudalie laneige etc

Really enjoyed this episode Kelly, very interesting and informative. I’m in a not very great place at the moment and your ideas are really inspiring ❤

It's definitely getting bad! I'm using nasal spray and eye drops daily now as well, it help but they're expensive!

LOVE TO Pycnogenol, so good!
I'm glad that you liked Facetheory eye cream! They have great products, but unfortunately they raised their prices so much. I always stock up on sales

Love ya kelly😊 great video❤❤❤❤ I was curious about timeless Q10 and facetheory eye cream.
Wow! Your art is spectacular, Kelly! Beautiful!❤️❤️❤️✌️💜
Thank you so much, Barb!💖
I love the wishtrend sunscreen. Its so good. I have gone through countless bottles.
I love theTimekess Q 10 and their Vitamin C 20%. My holy grails on my mature dry skin.
I *highly* recommend picking up a book called "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron. It'll change your life.
Love that one, it really helped me when I was figuring my shiz out and starting this channel!

Survival 0 by NIOD is fantastic as a super potent antioxidant blend

Also, I'm obsessed with that lip color
Haha I know what you mean! Luckily paints can last a really long time!

No, I think the closest is Make Prem Essence Toner!
@@KellyDriscoll thanks for the response
Sadly its not available in india easily
I liked the ingredients and texture of the face theory eye cream but can't stand the smell. So many really good eye creams to try out fortunately.
Fabulous kelly ❤❤❤❤From Pakistan
Unfortunately I have put my creativity on the shelf. I use to draw when I was young. I'm also a poet.
