Don't feel bad Melissa; it took me 25 years to figure this out! Because the song is called "Crazy Mary" I thought it was about insanity... it's not; it's about drunk driving! It's still an amazing song sonically, but maybe not so much emotionally.

First time I heard this song was enough to etch it into my mind. Such a memorable song, and artist.
