Geumgang Gureumdari Bridge [대둔산 금강구름다리] it’s located in the Daedunsan Provincial Park!!! Looks beautiful and I think it came out in a kdrama but idk which one.
The reason why I LOVE this channel is that she shows our local cities with these lovely and aesthetic edits&music. As a Korean myself, I really want to appreciate you to show our hidden beauties of Korea. Keep up the good work Cari. :)
I love how you capture the beauty in everything. Your videos are lovely, and I hope someday (with lots of practice) I can do something similar, if only for a sort of video diary. Thank you for sharing your travels and experiences with us!
i put off watching this bc i love watching your videos when i’m in bed with all my stuff done idk why but i like to relax and enjoy them 😋 this seemed so fun!!
Jooahloves Yess! You have to visit Daegu if you can! It's a lot smaller than Seoul so you can get around very easily and the atmosphere is a lot cozier and relaxter. Eventhough Seoul has a lot to offer, the people there are very nice and you have everything you need to live right there!
Thank you so much for your content. I'm going to Korea next week for the first time (yay) and your vlogs gave me so many ideas and already brought me into a holiday mood. I wasnt sure of going to Daegu but now, I'm excited!
beautiful video !! i have no idea how 18 minutes past,, i love your videos soo much they really bring peace to my heart all of your vlogs are like a book it makes me so happy
Loving this outside of Seoul series! Was always curious about what to do in daegu if I ever visited and definitely adding some to do things on my list 😊❤️
I just found out that I'm going to be teaching in Daegu for a year! This video made me so excited to live in such a beautiful and interesting city. Thank you for all of your content!
i love this!! made me miss all friends who go to school out of state, but also inspires me to call them and makes plans to see them properly when they come back home for winter 😍😍
literally every time I watch your videos, i’m always so floored by how you manage to capture everything so beautifully with just a camera phone like?????? it’s seriously crazy lol for most people too when I see they have a super long video (aka anything more than like 10 mins) like this, I tend to skip it over but not with you girl! love love love your videos!! 💗💗💗
Is it Korea or your eyes that draw the attention to beautiful things in these places? I love all the corners and details of this video. Daegu murals look less random but still very interesting. Excited about the Airbnb apartment post next week!
Almost 19 minutes of a lovely Cari vlog?! Guess it's break time from studying! 😉 I never would have guessed that the 'painting' in your Airbnb was a TV! That's so funny, but yet neat! Huh about the mist places all around Daegu! That sounds like a great idea for summer weather! 🌤 Another lovely vlog and footage, Cari!
i was really confused by it at first and didnt want to turn it off of art mode in case i couldnt figure out how to turn it back on hahha and i was LIVING for the misters hahaha thank you!!
I really enjoyed watching this video! Daegu seems so fun. I especially loved all the music in this video - you are always on point! Very interesting learning how Catholicism came to Korea in a unique way! Ahhhh I def want to start saving and planning for a trip to Korea within the next year or 2! Every video you make is just pure art!
I actually wished this video was longer. I just love all those snippets you took and to just see what was there. If this was a 30 min video, I’d still be happy to watch it till the end! 😁
Thank you for the lovely vlog and inspiration. Daegu looks beautiful and especially the murals, I'm so looking forward to visiting the city myself next month!
oh man, I don't think I've ever been to daegu and it totally looks/feels like my speed/vibe. Doesn't look to be filled with tourists and you get more of that local flare. Love the brick pavers too!
Daegu looks amazing! I'm definitely going to go there the next time I hit up Korea - thanks as always for bringing us to these little gems outside of Seoul and for showing us the beauty these places have to offer!! ^^
yesyesyessss! i suggest taking the faster train though hehe i wanted to save money so it took a long time to get there but you can actually get there in like 2 hours!!
My mom is from Daegu and in the mid 1960's she worked at Camp Henry as data entry clerk, waitress at a restaurant, and an English choir member at a U.S. military church. American people love the Korean people so much. Although my family lives in Vancouver, Canada. My mom still has memories of Daegu. I lived in Pebble Beach and Emeryville, California.
This was such a cool vlog! The churches were so interesting with all the Korean art. The cafes you brought us to were adorable! It's so fun getting out of Seoul with you, seeing these unique cities with so much character. The art and architecture in Daegu are so cool. Great vlog!
This makes me so homesick of Daegu.. When you filmed this I had just moved there and I can still remember this time so well! I can't believe that I've lived in this city for a whole year! Now I really miss it
Editing and substance! Loved this vlog you could tell a lot of hard work went into it too. I know how much you have to actually shoot to get good broll lol and I just love how you talk to the camera...it makes me feel like I am there and your scenery shots do too! Super relaxing and aesthetically pleasing!
It's the most beautiful TH-cam channel I've ever seen. No matter how good the equipment is, I can't keep up with your music and your video. ^^ I think the Korea Tourism Organization should take a look at cari.*^^*
I truly hope one day I will be able to come to this beautiful country. I was introduced to its culture because of my karate school, so since I was very young I’ve been very fascinated with it.
Ok, I guess your vlog made me fall in love with Daegu😍 It looks so pretty! Next time I‘m in Korea I want to visit Daegu as well. That cafe with the dog......and I want to have a tv that has art mode as well. This is so awesome🙂 And what‘s it with all that mist?? I‘ve never seen that before? I have to watch it again.....after this stressful day your vlog really made me happy and smile💕
I will be visiting Korea next year and I am really glad that I came across your channel today! It's really sad that we will only have a day in Daegu, but we will make the most out of it! :) Your videos are so beautifully done!
Looks really interesting there. The cafe at the beginning was cute and the sweet dog that took a shine to you. The folk singer guy was so cool and I’d never heard of him before. So sad he passed away so young.
I just came across your channel and I like how you capture the moment with your camera. Plus your choice of music is just my taste too! I'm Korean and I have never been to Daegu myself. your video makes me want to visit Daegu so badly ! I just hit the subscribe button too
this is literally!! my favourite thing!! youre so so gorgeous and cute and i could honestly just watch ur vlogs forever theyre so well done!! thanku for sharing!
I literally came to work almost an hour early so i could run and wait at my desk for 8 oclock for your video to be posted. It may just be my favorite video on this entire website. You showed our city so well and I love it so much, and such a long video you worked so hard. You did such a great job. I sat here refreshing the page on my phone and computer waiting for the video lmao...just so wonderful. I'm so proud ; - ; such a great job. I'm gonna go be obnoxious now and go force all my friends and my parents to watch this video to see what daegu is like since i never can capture it properly on camera ever
omggggg hahaha i wish i could have shown more of it cause i feel like i can never do cities justice and daegu DESERVES it hahah thank you so much for dinner and our talk it was so nice ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ i'll be back soon! give daegu a hug for meeee!!
Your videos are always so wonderful to watch. You're honestly living my ideal life (traveling to cafes alone, enjoying local music, surrounding yourself with plants and nature, discovering new things) and I honestly can't wait until I graduate college and get myself shipped to South Korea. I love how you speak and how you explain things for those who are unfamiliar with the country; I absolutely appreciate the genuine content. Please keep up the good work!! Always looking forward to your content (and the content on your squarespace website too!) This makes me wanna work harder in my Korean class lol things have been lookin kinda dreary grammar-wise lmao
Oh finally ive got time and good wifi to watch this vlog!:) Daegu looks so nice. My husband says its boring city and its nothing there. But he says that probably cuz he is korean and he says that about every korean city haha but well, i say the same about cities in Slovakia :D but watching your vlog, Daegu looks really nice! I will deffinitely visit there. Maybe i should till he comes next week :D im giving your vlog a big thumbs up!^^
Just fell in love with this city through your vlog, Daegu look so peacefull and calm and lovely, idk if the vibe of this city is the same as your video but i it is I think Daegu would become one of my favourite city out there
I really like your vlogs. The combination between beautiful scenery relaxing music and your great skill to capture it is just awesome. Some day I really want to visit Korea😊😍
Keiko!! Hahah my new friend~ You shot this journey so beautifully! Not too long and a lot of variety, plus good music~ I really see your videos go up in quality and they were already good so wooot!
wow. amazing! I am from Daegu but I live in Kansas City. It's been a while since I haven't visited my hometown (almost 6 years...!) You VLOG reminds me of many things in Daegu. I really enjoyed watching your video. Thanks!
Aaa!! This video makes me so happy! I studied in Daegu last year at Keimyung (from Sept-Dec) and all of the memories I've been encountering because of this video....Wow. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!
Hi Cari. I found this video by searching "visit Daegu" to see again the beautiful city I visited in 2016. I will definitely check your other recordings, and subscribe. LOL (meaning lots of love this time)
every time i start to think "i have so much of the world to see, i don't HAVE to go back to korea..." i watch one of your vlogs and am like "nope gotta GO" hahaha
Yeah i feel really bummed when i go in a cafe and know it wont last but a lot of places are getting smarter about how to evolve just enough to keep people coming back and staying business. There are plenty if places that wont stand the test of time but for most of the places i visit, i have faith 🙏🙏🙏
It's actually a true problen particulary in Daegu because it has even more Cafes than Seoul compared to its size.. Sadly many cafes close after a few years. Usually they're opened by young people who take care of it themselves. I can imagine that it doesn't get them enough money when they're not popular and also that they simply want to pursue another job before getting too old but I think there will always be creative Cafes when you visit Korea so you don't need to worry ^^
I love Kim Kwang Seok, my two most favorite songs are "Stand up" and "Painful love is not love". The song "Stand up" helped me get through some of the darkest times. In one of his performances, he said that one time he was feeling so down and wanted to just end it all but he eventually got through it and wrote that song. How tragic is that his song helped others to continue living and yet he ended up committing suicide. Give it a listen when you feel depressed.
At last my home city! and I found out you've been in a beautiful cafe I've never been! I should go to that romance papa? cafe! Thank you for this aesthetic video and cheers to your amazing stamina for walking around traveling in August in Daegu! Cause I almost find a cafe and ice drinks every five minutes I walk....
Looks like a nice city! Also the Santa post box to post a Christmas card to yourself...surely it's not just me who would use it to send all my Christmas cards for free hehe
Tuning in after a while~~ (sorry,I'm too busy these days :() I love, love, looove this vlog! *_* The weather, the places AND the music are all so nostalgic - even though I've never been to Daegu, but this makes me miss some things from my past...I don't know. And it makes me feel autumn-ly haha xD And it's my favorite season, sooooo
💖 If you like seeing cities other than Seoul, check out my Outside of Seoul playlist here: bit.ly/2wkkwlN 💖

Yes.. I've been there. But, because it is in Bronx, not because the school is not known. It was a really fun video.
