My girlfriend's best friends hated me both male and female and they tried to act like they had the first 'ownership of her' and it really didn't pan out well and the breaking point was the when the male best friend proposed to her while she and I had a fight regarding him. The whole group took his side and she broke their friendship then and there now I feel guilty that she lost her best friends because of me and I don't know how to make her feel better. And because she has very few friends to begin with she can't even find a second opinion and have any consolation .
