4:25 How do you do that, control the same vst using multiple "samplers", I mean, you control different instruments with different samplers, how is that tecnique called? or how can I do the same thing? please help! D:
Lol, that's actually what I did with that plugin! 😋 What you're seeing is "Ghost Notes" Which are there to help me understand where to place the notes in my current channel. It helps with keeping things sounding nice.
If you go to 2:47 you'll see that I'm controlling different instruments there from the same plugin using "MIDI channels" or "MIDI routing" (at least that's what I think it's called). What you do is change the note's MIDI channel number and match it to the same number that you assigned to the specific instrument you want to play. - It really saves on CPU if the plugin has that feature, but a lot of them actually don't unfortunately.
Anyone know a good upright piano? I don't care if it's paid or free. There are thousands of grand pianos but I've still yet to hear a decent upright. I even got Keyscape hoping it's upright would be amazing but it's a little off still because they used a very specific type. I tried EZKeys too which is as close as I've got to a nice upright but still something is missing. So any suggestions?
Hey, thanks for asking! There is a free one called 4front piano that you might be interested in. I'm not sure if it's the exact style you're looking for, but hey, let me know how it goes for you! Thanks for watching.
I've been happy with the XLN Audio Addictive Keys upright (free demo available, full license not normally free but I got it bundled with a Focusrite interface). I'd tried many free ones but XLN's is far more realistic and provides a range of mic positions including stereo playing position... on headphones it sounds like what you'd hear sitting at the keyboard. I can't vouch for XLN's other keyboard products but I use and enjoy Additive Drums quite a bit.
The best Upright Piano I've heard is from a Nord Stage 3, but for that price you could just buy an upright piano lol. Kontakt has a standard upright piano which comes standard and sounds nice. I always prefer the sound of the Upright, it sounds more wholesome.
`Transverse Audio Thanks for the recommendations everyone. (4front is great for free but sounds like it only has 1 sample per key?) The sound I'm looking for is basically the sound of a Yamaha upright. Similar sound wise to what Thom Yorke uses in Videotape and Suspirium. A soft sound. The "problem" (and it's bad that I call this a problem) with a lot of libraries is that they sample the best pianos in the world and sometimes they just sound too perfect. I don't want out of tune or "bad" but I don't want Hollywood level quality for a quiet song or for a little playing around at home. I'd happily buy a real upright if I had the space. I'm moving soon so who knows. Anyway I'll check out all the recommendations, if there are any more keep them coming! So far Addictive Keys and Nord Stage 3 are the best sounding, especially Nord. The Addictive Keys one is a little bright but could probably be fixed with EQ. Looks like I'll be buying either one of those.
Hey, FL Studio had actually only been "officially" for windows (with some ability to run it on mac). In version 20, it's now officially supported on Mac and apparently runs well!

but, i love the choir one, coz i can make it sound 80's if i mess with the parameters.
Dsk can sound really neat if you set some parameters and fx.
DSK is cool but it also depends on your config abilities. I can produce really unique sounds thanks to their soundbank.
Yea
Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes you have to take that sacrifice if it's the only plugin for that instrument/sound though.
Yeah, it can with some subtle EQ and reverb.
Will definitely check some of these out.
Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
@@TransverseAudio Wildo. Just getting back into it having bought the Neural DSP Abasi plugin. Stunning.
bagus. terimakasih. ini sangat membantu. salam mejuah-juah dari INDONESIA
:D
Halo juga untuk Anda! Terima kasih banyak, maaf sudah terlambat!
Wow that guitar one looks like a beast. Definitely downloading that one right now
It's the best free guitar plugin I've seen! I'm glad you liked it as well.
3:48 I feel like I just leveled up in all my attributes....
Ahaha, are you talking about my composition?
@@TransverseAudio Yeah haha.
I love choir and was continuously searching for emulators.
@@TransverseAudio BTW If you don't mind I wanted to ask you something.
I downloaded the choir zip file. How do I use it?
Thank you for your time!
@@SoudagerAamer Lol, thank you! I made a video on how to do it in FL Studio but if you don't use that DAW you can still apply what I go over in the one you use. th-cam.com/video/6qee2HaRZKQ/w-d-xo.html Let me know how it goes!
Thank you for explaining this thoroughly!
Try EdirolOrchestral plugin too)
Hey again, thanks for watching!
Do you have a link or it. Have not found full Edirol in a long time
Very useful, and sounds like what I need. With a little luck, I might be able to figure out how to use them! Thanks!
It's good that you found something you like, they aren't that hard to wrap your head around. Maybe some of the advanced features but that isn't essential. Let me know if you have any questions about them. Enjoy!
nice
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
Hey, I just released *PART 2* which includes 5 more FREE realistic plugins + a bonus drum sample pack. You can find it here: th-cam.com/video/4-NA25vQkVg/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
Fantastic demonstration. You just helped me a lot. 💙
Thank you very much! I'm happy to have helped you, I'm glad you enjoyed.
Add RDGAudio Free Piano also in the list.
Hey, thanks for mentioning this, I hope you enjoyed the rest!
That last part sounded like something straight out of lost planet
I'm glad you think my music is quality!
4:25 How do you do that, control the same vst using multiple "samplers", I mean, you control different instruments with different samplers, how is that tecnique called? or how can I do the same thing? please help! D:
I instead had to open orchestra 5 different times so I can change the instrument and create 5 diferent piano rolls for each one.
- It really saves on CPU if the plugin has that feature, but a lot of them actually don't unfortunately.
it's called real musician BOY
Thanks. I'll be checking some of these oat.
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Do I need create an account?
Extremely necessary?
No, I don't think you need to create an account for any of them.

Burzum - Die liebe Nerpus :)
Love it!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
Wayne Robinson their mark one is killer
That last one is phenomenal I'm downloading as we speak! Going to use it in my hardstyle productions
Nice, I'm glad you like that one! It's interesting to know that you'll be using it in that genre.
The guitar is fabulous, it is worth at least 100 USD but shhhh ...
Oh,I see .. great marketing from the devs; the Pro versions are terrific value for money.
Yeah, it really is a good product, whether it was paid or free. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, I noticed you can't play all the notes on the guitar itself above the keyboard. Have you tried out the full version?
YOUR MY LIFE SAVER FOR NOW! THIS IS REALLY GREAT! MANY THANKS!
You're welcome!
Could someone tell me which program is it? Thanks
FL studio.
The DAW I used in this video to host all of the plugins is called FL Studio 20. It works on both Mac and PC, I was using it on Windows 10.
I thought Fl studio works only with a Mac. I've being using other DAWS tho.
Hey, FL Studio had actually only been "officially" for windows (with some ability to run it on mac). In version 20, it's now officially supported on Mac and apparently runs well!
Interesting, as there has been a linux version out for years. I tried playing with it, but it's not really my style of recorder. I tend to do all my recording in Ardour, which is also free and capable as all get out.
Thanks for the information. I'm always looking for more plug ins. Good selection
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed!

2:27 awesome lofi sample right there :D
I'm glad you liked them, thanks for watching!
Thanks man! I'm just starting out in lmms (my friends and I are creating a concept for a game, and I wanted to create some concept ost) and i wanted it to sound good
These plugins will probably prove to be helpful!
You're welcome, that's good to hear! I hope you have fun making the game.
That VSCO2 rocks and like the guitar and choir VST demos as well.
Hey, thank you! I'm glad you like the video I put together, I really enjoy VSCO2 as well.
Nice! I can't believe that guitar plug is free! Thanks! 🙂
I have been looking for a video like this! Thank you!!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Дай тебе Бог здоровья за такое полезное видео !😘
Спасибо, и пусть ваша вера процветает!
I love AGML 2, one of my favs.
Nice, it is a good one!
way more convenient than Kontakt.Saves me from the hassle of sorting and installing new libraries plus the interface of the vst is very confusing. Thanks a bunch!
Happy to share these, I'm glad you enjoyed them!
Wow..that's AMAZING! I was looking for a strings vst plugin.
I use the choir and it sounds really good mixed with other instruments.
Hey, thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the content. I think the choir sounds nice when it's loaded with reverb.
You've made a great and very informative video. The instruments you've demonstrated are excellent for someone starting out and even more experienced musicians looking for different sounds and samples to use. A great collection. I have some of the paid versions you mention and love them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Hey, thanks for leaving such a nice comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Ample sound guitar is really great...I can't believe it's free...thanks for recommending
Happy to share it with you. I really enjoyed the plugin as well, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the heads up. I would like to tell your viewers when I attempted to download the Ample Guitar my antivirus software went crazy. Too bad because it sounds really good. That was the only one that set off an alarm.
That's kind of strange. It didn't cause any problems for me and it is from a legitimate plugin developer. I think it should be good, it may just be triggering something because of the nature of the file perhaps? Of course, use your discretion when downloading anything. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the rest of the plugins!
This is something that I was looking a few time ago, definitely worth it, thanks for your help!
You're welcome! Thanks for checking it out, I hope you enjoy using the plugins.
Awesome list of plugins! Been looking for some free stuff that doesn't sound horrible! Thanks, man! Great video too! Liked and subscribed!
Thank you for showing your support! I'm happy that you liked that video and the plugins I showcased.
Cool find, thx for the share. I'd used the bass and guitar plug-ins, but hadn't used the strings... wow, lotta good flavors in there... much obliged. :)
Happy to, thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the others and I've gotta say, Ample Guitar is really a gem.

nice review ;) thanks for your support!
Thank you too. And thank you for all of the free plugins!
Thank you... it is really cool. Merry Christmas and happy New Year !
I'm glad you enjoyed, Merry Christmas!
Awesome video. Great selection!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Very well put together video! Straight to the point and great quality all around. Can't see how many subscribers you have for some reason but however many you have, you deserve more :)
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like the video. I actually hide my subscriber count. 😄
Wow, those sounds pretty good. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
Thanks for the guide guys
Thanks :) I'll definitely use some of these for my tunes
Cool, It's nice to know you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching!
KEYZONE Classic is one of the best piano VST's, yamaha and steinway sounds is really impresive..
Yeah it's great, I really like the Electric piano in it. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the other videos!
The Virtual Playing Orchestra soundfont is also really damn good, and free, it contains pretty much all of the orchestral instruments you need, even choir, and sounds 10 times better than DSK ChoirZ, DSK Overture and VSCO2 imo and since you have to use sforzando to load it, you can even change the different articulations in realtime. I really recommend it!
Hey, thanks for recommending this! I really should check it out as I've never even heard of it before. I hope you enjoyed the video either way and found the guitar plugin a helpful addition. Thanks for watching.
beautiful musics, fam. Loved the video
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
the last one is really something
Yeah, I thought it was amazing! Thanks for watching.
I literally got the Keyzone classic before watching this video and i love it so far it's excatley the kind of piano i was looking for and it sounds amazing especially for being free! i would also recommend trying Scorpius out it's free as well.
Hey, that's pretty cool how you found it right before watching! I really like the electric piano part of it. Are you talking about the retro synth called Scorpius?
@@TransverseAudio Yes the retro Scorpius it's an older VST but still good nevertheless.
i have been downloading all type's of VST throughout the day and have been very surprised at how many good and free one's are out there especially on KVR was about to download the Orchestral one you mentioned but not sure if i can download it on a windows 7 32 bt? i have found a crap lot of good ones on KVR.
MyVst AND PlanetVst are two other great sites for getting free vst from as well.
Yeah, you should be able to get VSCO2 for windows 7, just check the requirements. You might want to check out the playlist I made on freebies here: th-cam.com/play/PL6faDNDX-aTJ5wENxQzyi_nvyqSDGVHF_.html
Let me know what you think!
