Great Buy on the dollar cards
I pulled a griffey out of a pack at a local hobby store and I summited for grading and it came back a sgc 96 mint this was a couple of years ago

$3 for the flagship Ichiro rookie! That’s crazy especially when you see what it goes for on EBay. I’d have been happy at $30 if it had sharp corners and clean surface. I mean seriously, $3???

In the documentary jack of all trades the owner of shop said he saw boxes of just Griffey rookie cards at upperdeck building. They were in brown boxes.

Hey Jon! I don't think the 84 Fleer cards are cut off center I think that's just the design for the super star cards. Hope your headaches get better soon.

@@thepastisalive I bought 20 '93 topps jeter rookies and 20 '93 UD rookie jeter rookies, the dude was on the outer ring, when you first walk in towards the end near where the the vendor with all the commons (there were tables set up, I think he was exclusively selling commons)...the Jeter vendor dude said he had 100's of them and just wanted to move them...I also picked up a pristine raw Jackson '69 for $105 (dead centered, shaaaarp corners, great edges and not too faded in comparison to the other '69 Jacksons), there weren't many vendors there with that card (at least on Sunday) and they really weren't letting them go raw below $150...I tried to leverage my purchase of the '69 Jackson rookie to get a discount on a '54 Aaron PSA 6, he wanted $3500, I offered $3000 and he wouldn't budge...I don't get it, I also bought a '64, '65 and '68 Rose off him...but no discount on the Hank 😥

Salvatore Zagra I know exactly who you mean. I went through his Jeter rookie box when I walked by but all the ones I saw in there were all post-93 cards so I didn’t look any further. Sounds like you got some great stuff though man!

Love you. Brothers!! I was just heading out of Spokane and tried to catch Live and right when you were going to open 89 upper deck froze up. Now I'm back and watching the entire video awesome congratulations
Back in I think 91 I was at a card shop in my local mall and they had 89 upper deck packs for 5 bucks a pack. I had enough to get one pack and I knew griffey was in there and at the time it was around 100. I bought a pack and started opening it and the first card i saw was the back of the Griffey. My jaw dropped and the guy working asked if i found something good and i showed him and he was like oh my god he went and got a hard protector and said congrats bud and gave it to me. I went through the rest of the pack and also pulled a regular nolan ryan. I was so happy. Still have the Griffey. I am going to nationals when it comes back to chicago in two years. Cant wait to hit those dollar bins. You found some gems. I also love junk era stuff. Starting to collect bo jackson cards

How much was the 86’ Donruss box?
You got some good cards from the dollar bin. I don’t have the leaf McGwire or either Bo Jackson cards. Also, I would get the pack with Bonds on the front graded.
I hope you get back to your healthy ways and put all the issues going on with your body in the past.

Cool stuff. I’ve never seen that Ozzie Smith rookie that cheap. Got one recently for $10 and it wasn’t in that good of shape.
American Patriot that’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen it too. Pretty awesome.

If you pull out the 89 upperdeck rookies were they in order? That's how you know where Griffey rookie is. We're the Jefferies and west after each other

You and your brothers voices are almost the same.
The super star special cards are meant to be cut like that. There is a second half to the card with another player. They display pretty good in binders if you have both cards. Awesome pickups man. I’m on a kick of picking up ‘83 boxes, my birth year I just think Itd be cool to like open a couple packs on my birthday for a few years.

Ps: those Guillen rookie cards are definitely on my hot list for cards I want to pick up. I know many hate him, but I love how he wiped those 2005 White Sox into shape. He was a real player's manager.

I like the investment/collecting side also. I just enjoy collecting cards...been doing so for about 30 years. I enjoy everyone and everything about this hobby....NEVER TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL.....the 2nd agreement.
