Do you know what the difference between a HIM degree compared to HIIM degree would be? My school only offers the HIIM major route and all I can find on the internet is information about the HIM major routes.
I suspect they will change over time. For example, many coding positions have shifted to be coding auditors as CAC software becomes more popular. But the need for clinical documentation improvement, reimbursement, the protection and management of patient information will be around as long as healthcare and patients exist!
