Grouplove performing "Tongue Tied" on KCRW

The five globe-trotting members of Grouplove met on the isle of Crete and had so much fun making music together that they pooled their funds and recorded their debut here in Los Angeles. Lucky for us, they'll reconvene to perform their songs live on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

I love hearing Tongue Tied live so much more than the studio version. Nonetheless, Grouplove is easily one of the best bands I've ever heard. Easily one of my top favourites.

Sometimes when artists use many instruments in a song and perform live, they do without most of the instruments and so the song loses something, these guys nailed it, it sounds almost exactly like the recording

in the album version, Hannah's 'beatnik rap' part isn't exactly bad, but it doesn't fit; in this live-version though? the way the others back her up, and the more... chill speed of it makes it 100times better than the album. i truly prefer this version, any day of the week.
