Timing of this vid was kinda awkward because I recorded it like 1 hour before the update that changed McGinnis turrets but I think it should mostly play the same. Valve reduced the possible turret charges from 4 to 3 but also reduced their cooldown, charge time and deploy time by a lot so I'm pretty sure it should be overall better even though you can't get 8 turrets now.
They also nerfed the Turret damage to objectives more into the fucking ground as well as further cut their health by 10% Turret Mcginnis just feels bad now.
@@marshmellowbit3 A part of me feels they should lower the soul value of the turrets if they are going to make them weaker overall. Maybe in another patch.
Great video! Also I just want to add since I don't see McGinnis players do this a whole lot, but if a turret last hits something you get the souls even though you're no where near the turret. You can just leave turrets to do camps and screw off somewhere and still get the full value of the camp.
3:54 A lot of characters have small interactions when getting saved by a teammate in certain ways from specific characters mentioned by name, really good dynamic voicelines that automatically play.
I hate when people level turret early. They die so fast, give away souls, dont actually do much poke, and can kill creeps you dont want and give away denies. The wall is so sick early for confirming last hits.
Wall also you best tool for getting pick-offs, I do level it for the slow but I have been prioritizing leveling the Wall and Heal before the turrets (they do help with farming later or scouting an enemy flank though).
wall is my first pick every time now cause of the ability to wall of creeps, players, guardians (friendly and enemy) and for escaping assuming they're not RIGHT up your asshole
I feel like half the issue is placement too. I see so many people dropping them down where they can shoot and be shot by everything in the lane, when they're better off placed behind cover where they can only shoot the creeps that are closest to your guardian and harder to deny and where the enemy can't destroy them without moving out of position where they're threatened by your wall. You're probably still better off prioritizing wall and heal, but the turrets can be an asset in the lane if you don't just spam them everywhere.
you should try tank vindicta. emphasizing the disarm on the tether. get as much range on it as possible, put duration on it, and echo shard so you can spam it. build support items to round out build
Small tip for you, lvl 1 turret with no items is basically useless so it's usually best to get wall first. It has a lot more utility for the first few waves.
Do you play back more often during early lane phase? I feel like I just die a lot because early game characters like Talon or Pocket can just run through the guardian and demolish us.
I really enjoy the new one, it sounds eldritch / supernatural, suits the atmosphere of the game very well. First one was an uninspired generic air raid siren stock sound
Better pray that Overwatch doesnt release another game when this comes out ,othervise people will say its overwatch clone just like they did with Battleborn and game died before even comming out of beta properly.

If anyone is confused, im sure he meant from 4 to 3 charges*

Alternative video title: Irish mother utilizes her children's labor to complete objectives
Great video! I love that you post what items you buy on the screen. Definitely helps those who are new players.
At this point im addicted to your videos feels like im watching old school cod live commentary
Mcginnis is a damn siege engine and more people need to realize this. Melting objectives doesn't get any easier than this.

Yup, turrets only really become good midgame onwards. Early game you're better off focusing on wall, heal and gun.

that sounds insanely annoying, ill definitely try it

Hanzo gave up his logs and gave them to Gray Talon.
They bent ginnis over a table and tore her in half long ways, turrets don't do a damn thing now sadly
I already hated leaning against grey talon this made me hate it more
McThickness or something to that effect Mast 😂

don't worry Blizzard is in the gutter, they have nothing coming up. And valve has a bigger draw than gearbox
