Suicide. Ask Bob Geldof, he was a catalyst in the mindset MH was in at the time.
Michael was cremated, his ashes divided between his mother and father (who were divorced) and Paula Yates, his girlfriend. His father’s portion were scattered at sea of Sydney. Paula’s portion is probably held by Paula’s daughter (Paula is dead). His mother’s portion were buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills (Los Angeles), dedicated to “American fans” by his mother.

Brad and Lex, you have to watch the live version of this from their Wembley Stadium gig from 1991 - Brad, be warned, Lex will literally be jumping around the room 😄

You guys should explore Australian music of the 1980s ... some great bands came out during that period. INXS, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Crowded House, Australian Crawl, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, The Angels, Mental as Anything and Divinyls ... just to name a few! My favourite INXS song is Listen Like Thieves: th-cam.com/video/IBtlTHYRScY/w-d-xo.html

I can say in my part of the U.S. anytime one of INXS songs came on at the club, the dance floor and the club itself was thumping no doubt.

You guys are getting some real doozies with the lyrics today. Michael literally says "There's something better that we could do than live forever" and the lyric reads "There's nothing better..." which has the exact opposite meaning lol.
