How to change the font in Samsung Notes?
For now, Samsung notes doesn't support using multiple fonts, so this is what I do to change the font.
Note: It changes the font of your tablet entirely.
My tablet: Samsung Tab S7
App: Samsung Notes - บันเทิง
The problem is that this changes font on your entire tablet. That's why I use penly for my planning. I can use any font I want.
Sadly this is how it works, I don't mind if it changes the font of the entire tablet, but I hate I can't use multiple fonts. I hope Samsung Notes will change it soon. Otherwise, I use a lot of digital note-taking apps, and I prefer Samsung Notes. However, it is about personal preference. I'm happy you are having a great experience with Penly. 🤗

I completely agree! I am a product developer and I am blown away that it appears that Samsung Notes has no easy way to change the font type LIKE EVERY OTHER NOTE APP OR WORDPRESSOR on the market! Insane! There must be a way without modifying the whole tablet's default preferences! 🤯

Hello friends, I understand that this changes the font of the entire tablet, and I have explained it in the description. I believe it is clear because I demonstrate it in the settings. However, if there was any confusion, I apologize for that. Currently, this is the only option available, and many of you asked me how I managed to do it, so I shared the process.
Secondly, I want to clarify that this trick is completely free. However, the fonts I recommended are not free, but they are super affordable. I personally liked them and suggested them to you. There are also free fonts available for you to use.

I'm not blaming you (this is the only way to do it with samsung notes, and I've checked for updates for this for literal years), but I wish they let us pick the font style in the app itself and not force us to change the whole tablets font. I like the more hand written looking font in my notes, but I prefer my tablet to be a basic sans serif font. I also hate how difficult it is to download more free fonts, there's like 6? free fonts on the samsung store, the easiest way to download, but everything else is paid.
I hope samsung notes will have an option for changing the fonts, this really sucks a lot!
Just to be clear to everyone looking to do this. If you change your font this way. It changes it for the whole android system. Everything you type, every menu you browse, and every bit of text for your system. Will be changed to look like this. If you find it harder to read. This is not a good solution to the font issue.
A work around is to change the font. Write what you need to write. Then take a screen shot of the document. Afterwards, change the system font back to what you prefer. I don't understand why samsung hasn't implemented font selection in their note app after all these years.
Thank you for explaining, I explained it in the description too! I'm okay with changing the font of my tablet, however it is about preference. I hope they will develop this feature soon!

A recommended free look alike font is the Cool Jazz, which is free and looks alot like the ones listed in the video.

Cool jazz: if you want it to look handwritten
Rose Mary: the same as Cool jazz but the letters are stranded straight
Choco cooky: the same as Cool jazz and rose Mary but the letters are thinner and some letters are curved
Note: these 3 are all free and made by Samsung
Note 2: I have the cool jazz and I don't mind it on my whole tablet.

U can set routine, when samsung notes are open then enable custom font. When it close u come back to normal of system ;p

No you can change the front to do that farst you need to open chrome and search front style then search anyting you like to write then copy that on samsung notes thats it solved the problem 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

It's an icon pack and I use nova laucher for it, the icon pack is called "Lines Dark - Icon Pack" available on google play and it is free.

yes. I know its 6months late but I just tested it and the answer is yes:) Exported pdf kept the font
I wish I had bought ipad instead 😢 I didn't know that it doesn't support fonts and dark mode , We should all comment on the app store
it does have dark mode, just activate the dark mode in the tab general settings and it aplies automaticaly to samsung notes as well, it even converts the color of notes you already have when dark mode is on

Hello, I really tried to find a free font that I like, I like rounded ones, but all I found free was very fancy or curvy fonts. It really depends on personal preference, so I recommend you to check them out. 🤗
