Sweet video. I loved MN riding the Northern Tier route, further north than you guys, the ACA calls it the Lakes Region trail section. I rode half way across MN on old rail trails, great state for trails and riding. I rode the Mickelson on a separate trip from Deadwood south to Grasslands National Park and back up through the town of Custer. Very beautiful area. Happy trails.

We left on June 5th and finished on August 3st. The tour was 86 total days with 76 riding days. We took days off for sightseeing and we had a few rain out days.

@@anseladventures did you follow the ACA northern tier route or one you designed….I’m planning a ride up the pacific coast route in May then join the AIDS lifecycle ride on June 4th that I qualified for to ride back to LA….or just ship my bike up to SF and ride back home then travel to Seattle in September and ride back to LA. Everything is up in the air till next year.

@@stevemullin1195 We followed several ACA routes. We rode the Northern tier to Whitefish, Montana. Then route the Great Parks route to Missoula. From there we took the TransAm to West Yellowstone. Once we got to Yellowstone we rode the Parks, Peaks, and Prairies route to Minneapolis, Minnesota. That's where we got off the ACA routes, temporarily. We rode across Wisconsin, took a ferry across Lake Michigan, rode across Michigan and crossed into Canada. Then we rode the ACA Lake Erie Connector through Ontario, Canada to Buffalo, New York. Once we were in Buffalo we rode the Erie Canal Trail for 360 miles to Albany. We finished riding through Massachusetts over the Berkshire Mountains and finished at the Kennedy Library in Boston. It was a total of 3918 miles with 126,000 feet of climbing. We rode Canada to Mexico 3 years ago. On that trip we followed the ACA route. Check our website and video for more details. Safe Travels.
