You know another funny Nash thing Nash on January 2nd to days before nightro he was in Taylor mi at the Gibraltar trade center signing autographs as the world champion..I was there didn't get no autograph but the line was a mile long looks like Nash cashed in before the finger poke of doom 😂....

It was year storyline that lead to a big old fart. That they are laughing at us the fans. They put this against mick foley winning wwf title? It’s first nail in wcw coffin. There was still chance to right things. Angering fan base so badly. Even after they were willing to turn nitro back on for over hang. You rewarded those fans with biggest middle finger ever in wrestling and laughed in their face while doing it.
For all the "no finishes" that happened all the time during this time period, I am SO glad that idea is pretty much dead and buried. The only reason as to why there were so many of these is that all the wrestlers refused to lose.

two sides of the coin kinda deal. on one side yes having no finshes cus wrestelers refuse to lose is a very big ego problem. but at the same time having no say on your finish can lead to your position on the card be meaningless cus you could go from the top to the bottom just cause you dont refuse to lose. there's a reason alot on the top never lose unless it was needed. cus if they didnt then they wouldnt be on the top in the first place
See they say the “band back together” Wolfpac was a failure from the start, and it really wasn’t. As Bryan said, they had a segment with Flair and Bischoff that did a 6.2 the next week. Superbrawl outperformed St Valentine’s Day Massacre, etc. I think they really just fumbled the angle. It wasn’t a bad idea, but they screwed up with Flair by adding David Flair to the mix, and they totally botched what should have been Goldberg mowing through the Wolfpac over the course of the year
Wolfpac was popular but circumstances surround the formation of the group and the war with them and the black & white was bullshit. And then the Fingerpoke was the cherry on top of the bullshit sundae.
I will still say if they had gone with the "original plan" and Goldberg had gone through the entire Wolfpac Elite and finally won the title back at Bash at the Beach six months after the finger poke of doom, it wouldn't be seen as one of the worst ideas of all time.
The February PPV always underperformed because it’s just a stopgap before Mania. Also, McMahon main events never drew big buyrates, even with Austin on top
