Just got the air - will likely make a video about it on my channel soon - but overall I love it !! Slightly regretted not getting the 16gb for a bit (coming from a 2015 13 inch pro with 16gb). But now I’m happy with it - handles anything I need ! Will probably sell it within 2 years as it’s a first gen product to keep value. Love your video man !
@@leogatineau2258 Thanks for the compliments on my video. I did purchase with 16gb but from what i hear, the performance is similar to the base model. I do a decent amount of video editing and wanted to squeeze every bit of performance possible, even if it's 5 - 10%.
I have to say Lightroom and Photoshop are no problem, super fast and responsive, even working with many high res files at once. I have a crazy fast desktop PC I would use for editing, photoshop and Lightroom before getting the M1. I feel performance is similar.
Yeah, never talked about that in the video, coming from the 15.3 pro it was a transition for sure, but less than expected. I find that I usually do email and light work around the house, more intensive work when I’m docked to a larger screen. Now when I pickup the 15 inch pro, feels too big and bulky. I’m looking forward to the 14 inch, think that’s an ideal size.
I love the M1. its funny I went from a 2013 MacBook Air to a M1 MacBook Pro and love it, I wanted the Touch Bar and slightly larger battery and active cooling and have no regrets additionally I also bought the M1 Mac mini at the same time they are both 👌👍

Upgraded around a month ago to the base M1 Air model. Never regretted doing it
@@zulaiharizvik9769 The new M1 machines are amazing, it’s going to be a complete revolution in computers which will unfold over the next couple years.

Was the 13-inch display any issue for you? Because it's kind of a big issue for me, coming from a 15.6 inch display.

Yes, the 14-inch size paired with thinner bezels should be the ideal size for the MBA.

Absolutely. Best laptop I’ve ever used.
