The orange bootleg, the vocals are sung by Anna Robinson, she is Cookie Watkins' aunt. That's the version Tony Humphries always played @ Zanzibar. Big tune.
OMG....YESSSSS!! I have been looking everywhere for this track!!!! I am literally screaming. ..I don't know what this other version is y'all talking about......but this one here!-----------yasssssssss!!!! Took me right back to the early 90s.....and sweatin' in a packed club!! That bass is naaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzztyyy!
The other version isn't as clean as this one, also the bass and vocals on that recording is cranked very aggressively. Same thing with SINNAMON VS MARSHALL JEFFERSON... very muddy but at the same time very good!!!! Check that one out too.
@@skfj67 EXACTLY!! This is clean..without all that extra production mess. Hot! hot! And people have to be able to imagine this bangin' in a club with that bass going through your clothes...people screaming..you would have to be half dead for that funk to not make you move.
I was praying that someone upload the Original Mix of this track. Two crates of records was stolen from me and this track was in one of those crates. Only way to hear was to listen to old mix tape on cassette. Great Thanks
After listening to this again and hearing the ORANGE lable ......I like the ORANGE lable more, even though it's muddy and all ,the vocals are more raw( which we love in HOUSE music) also the BOOT has a more aggressive bass to it in the beginning, but if I couldn't get the BOOT then this version is a close close close 2nd choice.
I have a version which was on a orange blank label(JPJ002) supposed to have been a C&C Unofficial Version has more raw vocal supposed to have been the Demo singer Anna Robinson The flip had House music anthem remix i think?
Really? This is the one we put out in 1991 @ Smash Records. I don't have the vinyl versions unfortunately. I can't remember how many remixes were done.
For me the ORANGE lables the only version, back when Club Shelter was @ 6 HUEBERT everyone went crazy for this so someone did a BOOT which was the ORANGE lable version.
The " OFFICIAL" release, there was a UN- OFFICIAL version that came out first that was on a blank orange lable. Very aggressive bass and vocals on that version.
Seriously guys, the beat is correct but the vocals seem to be a little off. Im the process of going through all my old cassette tapes. When I find it, Ill convert it to MP3 and post it...

What's the original version (other than this one that was put out in 1991 on Smash Records from Chicago?) I know about the demo versions...
@@radiofreesean the other version is on a blank orange label, someone "bootleg" it.
