This is not Peyton's song. I wrote, produced, sang most of the vocals and played all the instruments on this song. People get confused because Peyton cut me out of the video, but it's not his song, it's my song with him as a feature 👍
Peyton is from Washington DC . He sings country, rock, viking rock and Disney covers. Gavin Dunne ( Miracle of Sound ) is from Ireland he sings a lot of genres viking rock, rock, pop, electronic rock, hard rock, heavy metal, alternative rock, tribal music, dubstep, jazz, and even doo-wop. Peyton sings 2 different versions of My Mother Told Me one in English and one in old Norse ( I prefer the old Norse version) he does a cover of Zombie ( The Cranberries) and Sound Of Silence ( Disturbed version) all his music is good so is Gavin’s
This song gave me chills and tears of joy, made me proud to be a warrior. It move’s something in my should I can’t find the words to describe the depth of the feeling I get.
Totally with you. Watching and hearing stuff like this makes you dream to another place and time of age. Been reading/playing Dungeons & Drangons stuff since I was a child and often at that time wished I lived in such worlds. Oh well it's 2023 and I guess my office job will do.
@@daolman8226 Soon, I think, in your lifetime, time will return. Time is cyclical. You will remember your genetics. You will have the opportunity and the need to go to war.
Goosebumps, different Version. Good one! Pagan War Chant. Hehe. The Northmen are coming. I welcome them and go with them. (Assassins Creed, The Game Version)
Love this song, it makes you want to don your mail, grab your ax, and sail to plunder England! There are several groups and individuals doing these game music covers. I would highly recommend "The Last Dragonborn" (from Skyrim) by DragonForce for an excellent metal song. Great reaction and keep rocking.
I love this song. You should check out his My Mother Told Me viking chant he does in Old Norse. It has no captions. But for a version in English, I recommend Alina Gingertail
Miracle of sound is abolutely amazing. I can highly recomment "Beyond These Walls" from the Game Hades and all their work with the Witcher songs (WAKE THE WHITE WOLF) and i don't think i ever heard something from them i didn't like.
Yeah there are alot of good songs that they have made about russian history and rhey treat every country and story they tell with respect, Songs like, panzerkampf, poltava, stalingrad etc👍
I strongly recommend a band called Heilung, if you like an old norse, strong, authentic sound. The song called Anoana is amazing and the video goes along with it. The loooow, slooow drum that captures your heart and takes your soul to a place of beginning. ❤ They've got many awesome songs, though, like Krigsgaldur or Norupo.
I love Peyto nParish and Miracle of sound. If you like Viking music, you should check the following bands. Some are real Viking music, others, Viking metal: Wardruna (feat. Aurora): Helvegen (heard in Vikings) Wardruna: kvitrvn Hindarfjall (feat Peter Franzen, Halrald Fine hair from Viking): dat melti min modir (sorry, requires special letters I don’t have on my keyboard) Hindarfjall: (feat. Johan Hegg from Amon Amarth): Lerads Limum Faun: Galdra Amon Amarth: The Great Heathen Army Saltatio Mortis: My mother told me. I think you might like that.

It's hard not feel like you should be raiding in the 9th century in England or Ireland with Ivar the Boneless. Peyton did a version of his song Drengr (warrior) of Ragnarok with Miracke of Sound. I HIGHLY recommend you check it out. React if you see fit.

Correction, Peyton is actually from Arizona. He was in Washington DC for a long time but he set up shop and settled down in Arizona.
@@tyj.lodbok5520 Sorry your wrong I just relooked it up he was born in Washington DC in 1996
The versions without peyton parrish are objectively better

Peyton has several other songs similar to this one however this song only features Peyton Parrish. The band is actually Miracle of Sound.
I recommend Saltatio Mortis - My Mother Told Me & The Dragonborne Comes
I concur. Saltatio Mortis does some amazing music. I would add their song "Pray to the Hunter."
You should check out this version, Valhalla Calling (Trio Version) Miracle Of Sound, Eric Hollaway, Peyton Parrish, as a comparison.

Ships on vigor of the waves are skimming
Barren summits to the verdant plains
Each horizon is a new beginning
Rise and reign
Far from the fjords and the ice cold currents
Ravens soar over new frontiers
Songs and sagas of a fate determined
Shields and spears
Vows of favor or the thrill of plunder
Pull together for the clan and kin
Clank of hammers and the crash of thunder
Pound within
Oh-ho-oh
The echoes of eternity
Oh-ho-oh
Valhalla calling me
Oh-ho-oh
To pluck the strings of destiny
Oh-ho-oh
Valhalla calling me
Valhalla calling me
Sails a' swaying on the crimson rivers
Blood and glory in the fighting fields
Shields a' shattered into splintered timbers
Iron and steel
Fires are rising and the bells are ringing
Glory take us into Odin's halls
Golden glimmer and the sound of singing
Asgard's call
Oh-ho-oh
The echoes of eternity
Oh-ho-oh
Valhalla calling me
Oh-ho-oh
To pluck the strings of destiny
Oh-ho-oh
Valhalla calling me
Valhalla calling me
Wind and the waves will carry me
Wind and the waves will set me free
Wind and the waves will carry me
Wind and the waves will set me free
