Most mums feel with ya. Kids, working, shopping, household and many more stuff let us all feel burned out and overhelmed. Hope you found a bit me time for ya that can helped so much. Xx
Sometimes life is very hard, busy, complicated and it can seem we are growing in a sea of housework/kid shit. But as always Claire, the simple solution, which you won't do, is have Gareth do more. You are not in a traditional marriage as you BOTH work, you BOTH made the kids, you BOTH live in the house. If you were a stay at home mum that would be different but you're not. God almighty Claire woman, stop being a plonker, you and hubby need a life too....As a couple you need time off to do proper adult stuff 😂 . I'm heading off to America for 3 weeks on Monday....do I feel guilty...no I don't. I need a break, I need to be Lorraine again ....listening to mummmmmmmmm 24/7 does drive me insane. I hope you had a lovely weekend away and you enjoyed letting your hair down xx
Burnt out over here too Claire! With working, 3 kids and trying to keep on top of the house/the food shopping/the washing and remembering all the school stuff is ALOT! My youngest won’t settle to sleep until about 10pm so have no evening time and it takes a toll. Have a lovely weekend away and take a day or 2 off of blogging x
Bless you 💚 it's such a struggle when there are so many demands and pressures. Our kids are very rarely asleep before 9pm, . My youngest took a long time to settle to sleep anywhere but on me, and then she'd often wake up and cry. It's challenging xx
As mums (and dads), we always put so much pressure on ourselves! Take a night off if you can. I'm obviously not going to tell you what to do (i hate it when people do that to me!), but is there any way you can delegate a little? Make the kids a little mini chore chart for sorting their things out or helping you make their lunches or something? Make it fun for them and (or at least) helpful to you. Definitely take time for yourself. I could do with taking that advice, too. You're a great mum, and doing amazing. Sometimes you just have to stop and think, "Is this really important to do right now?" I hope you're feeling a little less stressed now xx
Thank you ❤️ I need to delegate more, but find it hard, like a lot of us probably! I have started asking the kids to help out with a couple of things, but getting more of a routine with it would be good! Xx
You’re not alone. I work four days a week, have 2 children, and constantly feel burnt out. No way to fix it really I just accept that sometimes I just have to leave things. Sending love x
Honeybee trust me i was the same when the girls were wee always chasing my tale. however its very much a more relaxed household now they are older 20 19 and 17 . the issues they have are just different ..... they do their own washing and most of their cooking and shopping however they dont clean or do dishes thats my job and its not a problem infact its a walk in the park. If i am honest i dont actually know how i did it as a single parent. ih invisible husband wasnt around simple as so no help there. Obviously.my health battle a year ago meant the girls had to be self sufficient to an extent and its just continued that way. Infact they are very good to me now they are working and earning their own money. They buy me bits that i like to eat or drink but wouldnt be able to necessarily justify. so far they have kept me stocked up on the pods for the fancy coffee machine they bought me for my 50th as they know i begrudge the fact they are so expensive. This week penni treated me to my fav box of lindt chocs annabelle bought me a share bag of Cadbury caramel nibbles and will get my car washed tommorrow and elise rarely goes to mcdonalds without bringing me home a strawberry milkshake or mcflurry so i cant complain. mind you not the healthest but i have to be on loint with my nutrition to keep well 95% of the time so these treats are eaten in moderation but very much enjoyed . Trust me your time will come just stick in their px.
You’re not alone darling and also my daughter changes her clothes just for the sake of it several times a day or several times an evening when she’s at school, then she just dumps the clean clothes she has worn for 10 minutes on the floor or wherever and then proceeds to dress in another outfit!! Yes it drives me a bit nuts too to be honest 😅😂❤️❤️❤️
I did consider it, but I really like just working on my own and only having to think about me and my life right now, not having to consider someone else and their life juggles xx
I find it gives me a boost doing a new clean,so do you do one off cleans?! I do.😊 Great video and some early nights next week but do you good to go away for the weekend.x

A problem shared is a problem halved ❤

Have you thought about taking someone on part time at work shoulder some of the burden? Xx
I did consider it, but I really like just working on my own and only having to think about me and my life right now, not having to consider someone else and their life juggles xx

Thank you - we're having a lovely time ❤️ (and my kids are enjoying being thoroughly spoiled by my mum!😅😅) xx
