- The game is Path of Titans, It is an MMO dinosaur video game currently in active development for home computers and mobile devices fully compatible with cross platform play. Can I suggest a new giga episode focusing on the new bleed ability that can give it a new build focusing around bleeding your prey out
Anyway I very much enjoyed this and all your vids
As a experienced but not veteran Duck Player. Here’s a guide from me.
-Firstly, when picking a species. I would go either defense or speed cause you might have to specialized in 1 thing to be able to compete. Pick the defense one if you want to face tank or pick the speed one if you want to be Muhammad Ali. Or you can just pick the balance one if you are still not sure what to do. But personally I like to be Muhammad Ali.
-In terms of build, I divided it into 2. Water and land. They are pretty basic, just change burly and tail attack with paddle and tadpole. Personally I’m more of a land dweller, only fleeing from enemy to water or just when traveling. Or you can make a mix or both but remember. Do not go on to land without tail slap. And about the hide, I preferred slick feather more.
-And when fighting, this video capture all the aspect of Duck PVP. The ducking to the side when fighting a spino is so true lol
Just keep in mind that the claw range is extremely short and a little spread to the side. The hit box at the head is actually larger than the actual head. And your turning speed isn’t great so you have to take advantage of your speed and stamina to the fullest extend. 😅
Do you have any tips for fighting Spinosaurus as duck? I can’t tail ride them cause they have better turning. And I can’t face tank. Even when I start a tail ride, I don’t get to do it for long.
@@X_Sauro tips? hmmm that’s hard question. you will have to find an advantage and exploit it (can do with every Dino). In this case the only advantage you have over Spino are speed and stamina. The trick is to be constantly on the move. Don’t ever tail ride. Go for the flank and head to confidently score a hit because your claw attack range sucks. The most important part is to not overuse your own stamina and use it wisely. Know when to disengage if the situation isn’t in your favour. Give them a tail slap when you run away. And just tail kite when they chase you but you have to make quite a distance when tail kite because Spino bite can go over your tail and hit your body instead.
Another trick I used back then is to make the Spino waste its stamina. But currently it’s much harder to exploit that because they reduced Spino stamina drain for some reason.
Last but not least, you have to keep in mind that Duck are NOT built for PVP. And Giga is your worst nightmare on modded server.
Oh and when fighting in water, your turn radius is actually better so use that to your advantage if you will.

@@Steffert1 Sarco and Spino players are very still tough to deal with. Like they are far more suited for aquatic combat than you do not matter how hard you try to justify it.

Is there a chance you could talk more about your precise movement and your turn radius and how you recommend it's usage from Dino to Dino? It's one of the elements of my fights that I struggle with the most

For me I use tail obviously to hit them when their behind me, claw attack as my main front melee then bite as my long distance melee. It’s got more range and can be used as an alternative to tail attack if your in a spin as claw might not be able to hit very well
With Duck your agiligty in land is fairly well but in water its where you peform best You can tailride pretty much all aqautics except Sachicasaurus and maybe mosa
The duck was my main for a year but nowadays its just waaaay too nerfed...they should re-add the bleed
Bro even though its nothing compared to before, its still a great Dino, i main duck rn
It’s still pretty good though nowadays I’d recommend running double defense since it can make quick work out of apexes

I ran same build but must with slick feathers...because im only at officials and their so many raptors and its not like community servers that u have one enemy down.. the others dont touching u. They came wit 7 raptors and u must kill all or die. But slick feathers makes u weaker against big dinos. That the problem i have with pounce. If must play anti pounce build but wanted to go better with armor hide etc.

@Jeremy-ff7gv you have to actually get out of combat, go hide and wait for the health regen to be any benefit. So no.
Dawg slick feathers work against one dino, eurhino which shouldnt be a big problem as duck@@irezz05

I saw that you were crouching in the carch duel to reduce bleed however crouching doesnt actually increase your bleed heal anymore than standing still does, what crouching is useful for however is moving while still having bleed heal equivalent to standing still. In short if you want to benefit from crouching to reduce bleed than crouch while moving

The defense land duck build goes pretty hard ngl my friend goes ham with that kit. Personally I like the balance duck with lone survivor, paddle tail, webbed feet and slick feathers but that’s just my preference. I also only play on officials tho.
For those whose saying Thick Down is bad. It's actually quite good. I run fisher diet, to combine the arapima health regen with his natural regen ability to outlast several predators trying to hunt me. I use fisher for buffs mid-fight to give me an advantage over whatever is trying to hunt me.

tbh, wen i used to play charc, i would use it as a cooler 3 call, if it gave a debuff to whatever i wanted to attack, yay, if not, im already tail riding it before they realise it was them i called at(i mainly used it to distract things)

Go in the water. If they miss their pounce, it's an easy win. If there's no water, go near a cliff. If they miss their pounce, they'll fall off the cliff, but they might survive. But they can't get back up.

Man I love the Deinocheirus but not played it in a while, I've been loving Barsboldia recently instead (such a tank 😂) I agree on pretty much everything in the build, although I'd run the slick feathers normally then switch to healing hide when healing personally 😅

I think it's a matter of preference as to how to say it
For instance, because you pronounce Deinosuchus as "Dee-no-suchus", you'd probably say "Dee-no-chi-rus"
In contrast I pronounce Deino as "Die-no"

If it were me I would go defense build, full traction, with slick hide if you play land, and speed with full water build if you play water, I go for land
How’s the Duck fair against Acro pairs? Bc they are on the rise in crimson and I’m considering growing a duck
I grew both duck and para in crimson in the same day, its not a big deal but the passive growth is the equivalent of 9 hours

Pretty sure the reason your hiss didnt apply in the first duel is because you tapped it instead of holding it down which doesnt work for some voice abilities 😆
The one thing I would change about the build is the hide. There’s nothing worse then spending possibly weeks getting good at a dinosaur, only just for a raptor to win a fight by holding one button. If you have 80% health or higher use slick hide.
I haven’t seen deinocheurus in so long. I used to kos them and hate them but now I feel empty and lonely without a rival
Hello, I think you should make a video for a Best Citipati Build which is the new modded creature.
The only thing I'd change would be to have slick feathers on most of the time, and change to heavy down when healing. Raptors and compies can be such a menace.
Also, I saw a single speed duck basically commit genocide in Crater thanks to the speed boost. That's to say that speed duck can be viable.

Great video! I also figured this tactic at 7:00 once when fighting on the shoreline. The other dino couldn't swim but I could, so dodging into the water was out of the question for them and I got a free hit every time they passed me on the shore side
